If you're a BlackBerry Passport owner or P'9983 owner and have been enjoying BlackBerry Blend, the time has come to update. Jumping into v1.0.1.74, this is the first time the on-device app for BlackBerry 10 has officially been updated since its initial release back on September 24th. As for what has changed, the change log notes performance improvements and bug fixes.
Additionally, the desktop components have been updated as well. The Mac version moves into v1.0.0.81 while the Windows version jumps to v1.0.0.74. Finally, the Android release as well as the iOS app have also been updated in their respective app stores. Before you ask, yes. It's still only for Passport and P'9983 owners.

Microsoft's 'Your Phone' feature is possibly a BlackBerry Blend alternative
It still irritates me that BlackBerry killed off BlackBerry Blend. In my opinion, the app was a bit ahead of its time and to help highlight that, one only has to look at Microsoft's new "Your Phone" announced at Build.

BlackBerry Blend v1.2 update now available
