If you managed to get invited to the new BlackBerry Android Oreo beta for BlackBerry KEYone, good news! The beta has now begun, and the update is rolling out, so check your emails.
Once you confirm you want to join the beta, you can follow the given instructions to get Oreo downloaded and installed on your KEYone. The update itself comes in at around 1.3GB so chances are you'll want to be attached to WiFi before downloading.
Having gone through the process already, I can say it went smoothly except I did get one error indicating the OTA didn't complete, but it did. Once rebooted, my KEYone loaded with Oreo just fine and even includes the new BlackBerry Locker app found on BlackBerry KEY2 but if you were hoping for a customizable Currency Key, that's not available. Did you get in on the beta? If so let us know in the comments.
