In Case You Missed It...
Just in case you missed these titles, below are some apps that were covered in the CrackBerry Blogs this past week. Check 'em out!
Slacker Radio Updated for the Bold, Curve and Tour

- Improved battery life up to 2x (over previous versions) while streaming
- Improved usability enhancements to the interface, including a "Home" button to quickly access the station list
- Added ability to toggle the explicit content filter (on/off) from the main menu
For more info or to upgrade your copy, head on over to Slacker.com from your Berry's browser (set your browser ID to BlackBerry to ensure you get their mobile site).
IDrive Lite

IDrive is a very nifty little app that allows you to backup and restore your contacts whenever you like. All contact information is stored on a secure server, so you'll never need to worry about losing contact info once you load this bad boy up. iDrive Lite is available in App World right now... It's free and definitely worth a spin. Head on over to App World to check it out for yourself.
AddresSave

While we're on the topic of contacts, my bud Fabian Heuwiser released a new app just a few days ago. Called AddresSave, this simple app lets you automatically add contacts that email you with their name and email address in the correct fields. It's handy for keeping your address book packed with contacts for sure. There's even a blocking feature that lets you block incoming messages from Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks from being added to your contacts.
Bla1ze has noted that he prefers AddresSave to Gwabbit and Anagram... with that recommendation it's surely worth a look-see at the very least.
You can pick up AddresSave right here >
Fancy Characters

Fancy Characters is a new app that makes the insertion of 'fancy' characters into your emails, BBM and SMS really easy. The app inserts a new menu item allowing you to insert a character of your choosing into your current message. Insertion of these characters will/should work for most text fields on your Berry.
You can pick up Fancy Characters for $0.99 >
Arr! SS - RSS Reader for BlackBerry

Love the name on this one haha. Just like it sounds, Arr! SS is a simple RSS reader for your BlackBerry. It's super-easy to use, and comes in free and premium versions. To give it a spin the free version features most of the basic features including the ability to add new feeds. The premium version packs more functionality including tight integration with Google Reader, for only $1.99.

New This Week
Ringtone Expressions
Claiming to be the 'fastest and easiest way to create custom Ringtones for your BlackBerry', Ringtone Expressions allows you to create an unlimited amount of ringtones. Creation is as easy as a drag and drop from iTunes or Windows Explorer. You can also create custom ringtones from YouTube videos, your microphone, and more. Lots of features are built-in. You'll have to check it out to find out more! Thankfully, a free trial is available, so you may want to give it a spin!
Ringtone Expressions is available for $24.95 >
ActionPad
ActionPad is a 3rd party version of the original BlackBerry MemoPad app. Use it to get quick access to your memos. There's a title & content search, 1-click category switching, hotkeys, encryption and more. This one integrates nicely with your native BlackBerry apps, and will even sync with your desktop or enterprise. Not bad. All you need to run this one is a minimum of OS 4.2.
ActionPad is available for $7.99 until September 11th >
Three Squared
A simple, colorful puzzle game, Three Squared lets you race against the clock to fill the board with marbles of the same color. While the countdown timer is a key element to this game for sure, a 'practice' mode is also included for a more stress-free game experience. Versions of this one are available for the Storm, Curve 8900 and Tour, and the 8300 8500 and 8800 series. Each version will set you back $3.99.
Check out the details on Three Squared >
It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere
Long day gettin' you down? Need to relax and grab a cold, frothy beer? The 'It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere' theme for the Curve 8900 and Tour 9630 inspires you to pour yourself a cold one. There's not really too much else to say, as the picture to your right says it all. Custom 'beer' icons are included, and the background is customizable as well.
You can pick up 'It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere' for $1.00 >
Note: I had to mention this one in the roundup, kinda made me laugh.

Cool at BlackBerry App World:
Brainwave Tuner

Brainwave Tuner is a 'brain wave simulation app'. I know, strange, but sometimes strange and different is good. You can apparently use this one to change your brain frequency towards a state of your choosing. Use it to relax and meditate, enhance your learning capabilities, induce sleep, increase focus, get rid of aches and pains (headaches), or simply to help you calm down and reduce anxiety before a stressful situation. Thought this was interesting, so be sure to let me know what you think if you try it out.
Check out Brainwave Tuner in App World. To purchase, you'll need $2.99.
