Howdy CrackBerry nation! I hope you all had a wonderful week. For the last few days I did the unthinkable, I actually took a few days off to visit some friends. A shock I know, but nothing wrong with a little downtime. Although, as you can see, I still found some time to search through all the storefronts and find some applications and games for you. Getting back to our favorite subject though, this week we saw AtHoc win a TSA contract to secure over 200 airports nationwide, new pics of the BlackBerry 'Venice' and another edition of the BerryFlow Upstream Podcast – Prospect. Finally, for those looking for a great deal on accessories be sure to take advantage of the ShopCrackBerry Labor Day 20% off sale by entering LD2015 at checkout from now through September 9th. Enjoy the holiday weekend everyone!

Now it's time to bring you this week's picks for all your passionate BlackBerry addicts out there. You can find each app and game I've rustled up for you by clicking through the gallery below. If your favorite did not make the cut this week, remember you can help by offering your suggestions at the end.

Camera Organizer by Toysoft Development

Camera Organizer

For those looking to clear the clutter in their camera folder, Toysoft Development has a way of putting them in order. The application is quite simple and doesn't require going through a lot of menus or options. Once installed, Camera Organizer appears when you snap a picture using the Camera application. After a picture is taken a popup appears asking you to either delete the image, select a folder (either on the device or SD card) or to close. You can even add a specific folder as a quick button and tap it directly on the popup. What is nice is that you can sort your images and place them within custom folders. After you save a picture to a folder another dialog box appears asking you to set a folder action. Here you can have it set images to save to this folder for the next 10, 25, 50 pictures or for a certain period of time up to 60 minutes. Fast and convenient, this native application is available in BlackBerry World for $1.99.

QR Scan and Go by Andrei Popleteev

QR Scan and go

There is nothing I like more than an application with a useful albeit simple function. Going through the forums, I came across QR Scan and Go from the developer that brought you KeePassB. This native barcode reader has, and I quote from the developer, just one feature and a lot of anti-features. This means that all you have to do is launch the application and point the camera towards the barcode. All content will be opened or shown with a copy to clipboard button. QR Scan and Go recognizes 10 carcode formats, is ad free, and there is no history of previous codes. You can download it for free in BlackBerry World.

Photofy - Photo Editing & Collage App by Photofy, Inc.

Photofy

I know you what you are going to say, another photo editor? I happen to enjoy taking and editing my photos and can never pass one up. Photofy not only lets you edit photos while on the go but create simple collages as well. It comes with a large collection of overlay content (39,000 graphic elements), 90+ free fonts, and 30+ free filters. However, many of the items can be purchased through the marketplace and range in price. The app is easy to use but you do need to create an account in order to use certain features. For the free version your photos are watermarked but upgrading to the premium package for $2.99 will remove that. Regular tools include mirror, blur, sharpen, brightness, contrast, and saturation. Photofy can be downloaded from the Amazon Appstore and Snap.

Flow Free by Big Duck Games LLC

Flow Free

Being that I spent the last week with friends and their son, it was only naturally I would see what kind of games he enjoys. One was Flow free, an easy-to-learn puzzle game for people of all ages. The goal of each level is to join the like colored dots with pipes using the space on the board. However, this is not as simple as it sounds. Grids vary in size and there are two modes of play. As more colors are added on the grid, so does the ability to match the dots. Beginner levels are completed in moments, while others take some time to manipulate the pipes so that all dots are matched without any of the pipes crossing. For those who downloaded through the Amazon Underground, the application is free to download and comes several premium features and game packs.

Vendor Stats by Sven Ziegler IT Solutions

Vendor Stats

If you are a BlackBerry Developer, a new application popped up in the storefront this week. Vendor Stats presents a more detailed overview and analysis of the metrics of your application as well as how it performs during a pre-defined time period. Developers can track how often a particular app, or all apps combined, have been downloaded or purchased, how much revenue each of your apps produced in a given time span, and what your bestselling apps are currently or in the last week. All data is downloaded directly from the BlackBerry Vendor Portal. A must-have for developers, you can purchase it from BlackBerry World for $4.99.
