Just in case you missed these titles, below are some apps that were covered in the CrackBerry Blogs this past week. Check 'em out!

BerryPopup Updated

BerryPopup has been updated to version 1.1 with some handy new features. The app, if you're unfamiliar with it is a popup alert app for your emails. The popups give you a preview of emails before you crank them open. Key features in the 1.1 update include:

• Added option to mark all e-mails as read when the popup is closed using the escape key
• Added swipe detection to go to next/previous message on BB Storm by swiping right/left
• Now scrolling both address header and message preview
• Improved phonebook contact matching
• Web Links/phone numbers in message preview are now clickable
• E-mails are marked as read when replying/forwarding

AddOnis Now Available

Formerly known as BerryAddon, AddOnis now available in our store. It's a nifty little all-in-one utility that lets you do all kinds of stuff. Install and you'll get access to such features as an autolock, blocked call log, block/allow numbers and much more. If you'd like to tweak out your Berry just a bit more, this one is worth a look.

bQuiet Automated Sound Profile Switching

Want to be able to quiet your profiles with one simple click? That'd be handy, right? With bQuiet you can do just that. When heading into that meeting or anywhere else you want your Berry 'silenced', simply hit one button and your Berry will behave for a pre-set amount of time. Choose the amount of time you want to quiet your profiles for, from 15 minutes to 10 hours. Many more features are included in this one, and it should work just fine on devices running OS 4.2 through 4.7.

Hippopost Mobile Postcard

Kevin is excited about this one... and probably with just cause, as it's pretty neat. Hippopost Mobile Postcard lets you snap a photo from your Berry, add some notes to it, and submit it to Hippopost. Then, Hippopost will actually print out a physical postcard and send it to the recipient. How cool is that!? It's quick and easy to do, and the postcard should arrive a week or so later. Oh, and did I mention it's free?

Important Note: Canadian submissions are currently being processed daily, while US submissions will commence October 15th.

WorldMate Live 3.0 Released

If you do a lot of traveling, WorldMate is a must have app. It has recently been updated to 3.0, and packs a lot of new features including:

• Yelp Local Search Services - Find restaurants, shopping, night-clubs and other businesses wherever you go.
• Calendar Sync Changes - WorldMate synchronizes your travel itinerary with your calendar automatically!
• Hotel Booking Improvements (Smart Hotel Search) - In the improved version, hotels now appear in a list layout with thumbnail images and include special offer notifications.
• Rail Support in Automatic Itinerary Generation - WorldMate’s parsing system now supports rail booking confirmations. Users can forward confirmation emails from Amtrak, Eurostar, TheTrainLine and others and have these bookings automatically integrated in their itineraries – just like flight, hotels and car rentals.
• Map & Directions - The “Map & Directions” feature opens the BB map service instead of a static map

The Big Event, Countdown to Important Dates

This tiny app allows you to setup up to 3 important dates in the future you'd like to have a countdown to. A wedding, a birthday, a holiday, you name it. Set the date and the countdown will begin. The countdown ticks off the days, hours, minutes and seconds. You can enter names for each important date, and the countdown will run on the local time from your device.

Only reason I bring this app up is the flood of memories it brings to me. Just hearing the name takes me back to the old Apple IIe computer we used to have, where I played the game of the same name... learning geography as I played. Of course, you can't forget the kids game-show of the same name as well. The 'Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego' app for BlackBerry delivers everything you'd expect, in a well illustrated, easy to play game. Pop it open, brush up on your geography, and in the end, hopefully you catch up with Carmen :)

Check in on the NFL, NCAAF, CFL, MLB, NBA, NCAAB, NHL, PGA, NASCAR, EPL and MLS. That's a heck of a lot of sports leagues... and ScoreMobile covers them all.
