We are always looking for new ways to accomplish more with our devices and in turn balance our day-to-day tasks. With all of the applications currently available finding the right one poses a difficult task. Luckily, Devcellent Solutions released a productivity bundle comprised of three of their applications as a great value to customers. For $4.99, users can get Phone Tap – Call Blocker, Hubb++, and Email++ to help them control calls, notifications, and emails. This application underwent a few revisions and now this new version is available in BlackBerry World. Multi Use is a simple application that makes posting your status to multiple social platforms easier. So whether you wish to post to Facebook, Twitter, BBM, LinkedIn, Twittly, or your BBM Channel you can do so right from the main screen. All you have to do is select the network and type in your status. Also included with this application is an RSS newsreader aggregator. Contact Care by NandkumarRS

After switching back and forth amongst several devices I realized that not all of my contacts followed and some were lost in the shuffle. Being able to manage your contacts is important and that is why we all could use the ability to backup, restore, export, import, and merge them. While the interface is quite simple, you really do not need to jump through complicated menus just to organize your address book. The main screen shows the total number of contacts on your device as well as how many had been backup up. Simply tap on the menu and choose the desired function to perform. Backups may be saved to your device, SD Card, or to Dropbox and users may select to perform a full or custom backup in a matter of moments. Files are exported in CSV format or as a single vCard 3.0. For those, like me, who struggle with duplicates simply tap on the merge button to have it discover them by name, number, or email. The app is $0.99 to purchase for BlackBerry 10.

Bonza Word Puzzle by MiniMega

As someone who is fan of a variety of word games, I had to check this one out from the Amazon Appstore. This is not your everyday crossword puzzle though. It is combination word search, jigsaw puzzle, and trivia knowledge all rolled together in one interesting game. The object of the game is simple; you are presented with a few jigsaw puzzle pieces that are comprised of letters. Your goal is to form words that match the clue(s) you are presented with at the top of the game. For instance, if your clue is cutlery then you have to move the pieces to spell out knife, fork, and spoon. In the beginning the puzzles are quite easy though they become more challenging as you progress. There are several packs included in this game to work your way through first or the free puzzle of the day before moving on to the paid puzzle packs. It's fun, quick and a good way to pass the time.

CryptoApp by Luca Desogus

Security is always important especially when dealing with our personal files. This application allows you to encrypt any type of file on your device including images, video, audio, and texts. One of the options that sets is part from others is that it has FNR or File Name Remember. What this entails is that that you can rename an encrypted file and restore the original file name when you decrypt it. There are several useful features with which to secure your files including rapid encryption and encryption, and high security due to variable encryption keys. There are two versions at your disposal, a free version with ads that limits the backgrounds and the file size to encrypt or decrypt, and a premium version for $1.99 with no restrictions. You can find this easy to use application at the link below for all BlackBerry 10 handsets.

Work Wide by Brian Scheirer

The BlackBerry Passport is a great tool for being more productive whether it be to handle personal or business items on a daily basis. To help maximize the potential of this amazing device, our own Weekend Coder Brian Scheirer and Olaf Hanson took it upon themselves to design this effective application. There is not enough space to completely describe all of the features included, you can check out our full review for that, but all you need to know is how much more you can accomplish when you have two apps side-by-side on the Passport's wide display. It has a built-in browser with a full HTML5 experience, composer to send, save, and share messages, picture viewer for files stored on your device, media card, or cloud account, and txt viewer. For Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe files, those will be opened in another window. If you are looking to take your multi-tasking skills to the next level, Work Wide for the BlackBerry Passport is $2.99.
