eBay Mobile for BlackBerry Coming Soon

ZBook OTA Phonebook Backup

This is kind of neat. If you'd rather not run an Outlook sync, or perhaps you don't even run Outlook... There's a new app out there called ZBook that lets you backup your phonebook automatically, over-the-air. It supports the importing of contacts from Outlook, Hotmail, Gmail, Plaxo, MSN and Yahoo, and key features include:
- The contacts can be edited by the owner at any time online and then sync-up with the device
- Supports Outlook import of contacts in the CSV format and restore of all contacts in case the phone is lost or switched to newer phone.
- Auto sync timer: It wakes up the ZBook, backup contacts and then smoothly exit the application on a specific set time.
- Search contacts based on full or partial name, number, email or address
If you're already a Google Sync user, good on you. You're already getting your backups for free. But if for some reason you stay away from everything Google, ZBook will run you $9.99. You can pick it up in App World.
Urbanspoon for BlackBerry

Gotta love this. The developers at Xtreme Labs gave Kevin a look at the upcoming Urbanspoon app for BlackBerry. Urbanspoon is the ultimate 'restaurant finder', for lack of a better description! Choose the type of cuisine, or let the app select at random, and it'll find you a place to sit down and dine on some solid eats. Directions to the restaurant, reviews and more are all available as well.
To get your hands on the app, hit up http://www.urbanspoon.com/blackberry from your Berry's browser.

New This Week
clap'nSeek

Do you often misplace your Berry? I think we all do from time to time. It happens... and it's super-frustrating when you can't find the darn thing. The solution? Enter 'clap'nSeek from the good folks at Duggan Street Research. Simply clap your hands and clap'nSeek sounds a beacon, allowing you to quickly find your Berry without much fuss. You can adjust the sensitivity of the app to your liking, or even set it to detect a distinctive 3-clap sequence. There are many more features included, so be sure to check it out at App World for all the details.
CLAP ON *clap clap* CLAP OFF *clap clap*... the clapper! I mean, clap'nSeek!
Thanks Cassie!
BeDroid Theme
Available for the Storm and Storm2 only, the BeDroid theme from JMal Designs brings a lot of Motorola 'Droid' love to your home screen. There's a custom lock screen, 8 user defined icons on the homescreen, custom animations, and a whole lot more built-in. If you've got a soft spot for the new Moto Droid, but want to keep packin' your Storm, load up the BeDroid theme. Best of both worlds.
You can pick up the BeDroid Theme for $3.99 (until November 18th).
Memo Mosaic
A simple yet brain-tickling memory game, Memo Mosaic puts you to the test. The object of this one is to turn all of the memos into the target color. Good to pop open when you have a few moments, or simply want to trigger that tired, sleepy brain of yours during a hard day of work :) Memo Mosaic is available for most current Berry models.
Check it out for $3.99 in our store >
MemoryFlash
MemoryFlash offers one-touch resource recovery (on demand), or automatic resource recovery at convenient times. You can set trigger events when the backlight turns on or off, when you unplug, plug-in, or when you hang up a call. Use MemoryFlash to ensure apps run optimally before you run them. A great utility to help your Berry run smoothly.

Had to give a shout out to my friends at UberTwitter here today. If you're looking for a fully-featured (and free) Twitter client, UberTwitter is worth your download. Pop it open to post new tweets, share photos and videos, and much more. It makes 'tweeting' a breeze, and I highly recommend it.
