Freebies of the Week:
I just finished playing with this one, and I've got to say, it's a must have app for anyone crazy about golf. The Golf Channel Mobile app delivers the latest golf news and scores right to your Berry. You'll also be able to read the latest from the Golf Channel blogs, plus special sections on equipment and travel are also included. There's really not much more to it than that. It's simple to use, and delivers up-to-the-minute golf news, scores and more!
Canadians have been waiting for this for some time now... and, finally, it has arrived. That's right, Slaker Radio is now available to Canadians, in all of its streaming radio goodness. Listen to personalized radio stations, or check out over 60 stations programmed by other experts. To get started, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial, after that you'll need to subscribe for as little as $3.99 per month.
This one is for all of the self-proclaimed geeks out there. New from Phrenck, the Binary Clock is available in our store for free, and is supported by any Berry with a color screen. Pulsating dots deliver the time, but if you want to cheat and look at the number values, just hit the menu key. For more information check out the Binary Clock in our store.
In Case You Missed It...
Just in case you missed these titles, below are some apps that were covered in the CrackBerry Blogs this past week. Check 'em out!
Add another weather app to the mix. MyWeather Mobile is a little cheaper than some of the other weather apps out there at $3.99, and it gives you a lot of bang for the buck. Unfortunately this one is only available in the US for the 9630, 9530, 9550, 9000, 8900, 83xx and 81xx series.
Note: Yes, there's a free 'Lite' version as well. More info on that one here.
