Paperama by FDG Entertainment GmbH & Co.KG

Growing up I used to make Origami items. That popular paper-folding pastime allowed us to create so many ingenious and beautiful creations. There was nothing like turning a small, colorful paper square into a shape or animal. Now you can get that same feeling on your device with this application from the Amazon Appstore. It brings that experience to life with an amazing 3D folding effect. There are more than 70 puzzles with limits on the number of folds you can make to achieve the desired shape. The game is challenging comprised of complex folds.

One Music Player by Unicorn Inc.

No matter what the occasion, be it relaxing or writing a blog post, there has to be music playing in the background. As such, I probably devote an exorbitant amount of time testing various music players on my device. This latest player to hit the storefront captured my attention first by the minimalist glassy design and second by the unique way it allows you to navigate the application. This has to be explained as there is no back button. It utilizes a special swipe to have you return to the previous screens, and that is by swiping up from the bottom frame and going left or right across the display. As a native application, it's fast, responsive, and plays your music flawlessly. It sorts your library by song, album, artist, playlist and folders, as well as letting you select additional options for filtering such as by duration and date added. There are other great features as well including a built-in 5-band equalizer and a tag editor. This beautiful and feature packed player is FREE to download.
