We first took a look at Big Mountain Snowboarding some time ago when it was released for the PlayBook. Now though it is available for BlackBerry 10 so you can keep it in your pocket for those times you have a few minutes to crank out some gaming action.
The idea of the game is to get to the bottom of the slope but while doing so you must pass through a certain amount of flags and bust some cool moves when you have the opportunity to jump. Moving your skier is achieved by using the tilt controls and he will automatically be in a crouched position to give you extra speed - but if you need to slow down to make a turn or avoid a tree you can touch the screen to make him stand up and slow down slightly.
And that pretty much sums up the game. The graphics are not the best in the world but the game play is smooth and enjoyable and that's what counts in my book.
It's nice to see that the game is supported on both the Z10 and Q10 so everyone can join in the fun. Priced at £2.00/$2.99 I think it's worth a download if this looks your sort of game.
