Following the latest update to BBMe on iOS, BlackBerry has now updated its Android version as well. Rather than a typical bug fix update, the changelog this time around is rather substantial, with new features and enhancements listed.
- Push notification improvements (On iOS - Added April 8, 2020)
- Reduced setup time for voice and video calls in poor network conditions
- Message size limit increased to 5000 characters
- Create home screen shortcuts for chats
- Mute a chat from a message notification
- Mark a message as read from a message notification
- New message content is hidden when the app is passcode locked
