11 Bit Studios has had a proven track record for providing visually appealing games that are also mentally challenging. Prior to the launch of BlackBerry 10 and the BlackBerry Z10, 11 Bit Studios has published games onto the iOS and Android platform, but that’s all changing. Today, I want to introduce everyone to Anomaly Warzone Earth for the BlackBerry Z10. Anomaly Warzone Earth is, in my opinion, the best tower defense style game on the BlackBerry platform.
The premise of Anomaly Warzone Earth is seems quite simple, don’t let your tanks and other vehicles get attacked. Simple, right? Think again. While your vehicles travel along the predefined path they are subject to a barrage of enemies that are looking for one thing, to cause mayhem. As the game progresses you are presented with more utilities that will help you defeat the enemy at hand. At the start, you will have only one simple care package, and that is health. The health pack will allow you to revitalize about two vehicles at a time. While healing your troops be careful, as you are still acceptable to enemy fire while you are being healed. Continuing through the game you will be able to use more and more care packages, but use them sparingly as they are not in an abundance supply.
While I’m exited at all of the productivity possibilities of the new BlackBerry 10 platform, I would be lying if I said that I don’t enjoy killing time playing some of these new HD games that are popping up in BlackBerry World. Anomaly Warzone Earth is available in BlackBerry World for $3.99 and is waiting to be downloaded.
