I know it's a day early to wish everyone a Happy New Year, but in a few short hours I'll be boarding a plane to Cuba for my long awaited vacation! From what I have read it seems my BlackBerry's data won't work there and the only Internet hookup will be a dial-up connection in my hotel's lobby, so basically I'll be suffering total CrackBerry withdrawal (device and website!) until I return on January 8th. Soo here it is now.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
2007 was a huge year for CrackBerry.com (especially if you consider we didn't exist in 2006!) and in 2008 things are only going to get bigger and better! We'll continue to build upon our solid foundation - More voices in the Blogs, More Reviews, More How-Tos and Tips, more Free Downloads, More Giveaways, More Members, more more more MORE MORE! 2008 will also see us start our bi-weekly CrackBerry.com Podcasts, which I'm really looking forward to!
And while I'm working on my tan for the next seven days, the site is in very capable hands. James will be feeding the blog posts (feel free to send news tips to james at crackberry.com) and running the rest of the 12 Days of CrackBerry Giveaway, and as always the forums will be bustling with activity thanks to our stellar community members. I predict it will be a fairly slow news week though... the Consumer Electronics Show is coming up the week after and I think all the BIG NEWS will be saved for then! Hopefully RIM will drop some crazy product announcements! Think we'll see a BB touchscreen in 2008? Do we even want to?!? :-)
See you all in the New Year!
