Your Life on PlayBook hits Facebook

RIM has fired up another cool Facebook app, this time to promote the upcoming BlackBerry PlayBook. The Your Life on PlayBook app runs through your Facebook page and gathers up all your information for a pretty cool display. View your photos, status updates and other happenings from 2010 on the virtual PlayBook interface. Kind of a neat idea but it's definitely no QNX. Best to wait until 2012 or 2013 then ... that way they'll really get it right. RIM started marketing the PlayBook way too early in my opinion. I think they thought it was going to be ready much earlier but apparently have run into some issues. I agree, get it right, but they blew the timing on this one from a marketing standpoint.

Actually RIM has been saying Q1 2011 all along so I don't get how they blew the timing. And I disagree with you, I think RIM did everyone a favor. Just think of all those poor people who would've been stuck with an inferior iPad.

A release date would be so much better. my life on a playbook 2011 appeals to me more.
