A nice little update is rolling out through BlackBerry World for those of you out there making use of Work Wide. The latest release bumps the app into v184.108.40.206, and it packs in quite few changes over the initial release, some of which was added based upon user feedback.
Topping the list of changes is a new full-screen mode, a new settings page, picture app improvements as well as support for additional BlackBerry QWERTY devices such as the BlackBerry Classic, Q5, Q10 and the Porsche Design P'9983. We've got the full change log for you, so have a look through it all below.
Added SMS/MMS: Continue your active SMS conversations while browsing the web, doing calculations, etc. Allows for image attachments via MMS and you can easily add emojis with our custom picker.
Emoji Picker: Easily add emojis to your SMS conversations and in the Composer body. No copy/paste required like most other emoji apps!
Full Screen Mode: On the Passport flick the menu button left or right to enter full-screen mode. Tapping the menu or flicking it back to the center will bring you back to split screen mode.
Added Settings: Settings page allows you to set the default state.
New Styling: New menu page, new in app icons, and subtle styling all throughout the app.
Organized Saved Entries: Saved entries within the composer database are now organized by titles.
Picture App Improvements: Some were having issues with pictures not showing properly. Much of this app has been rewritten and hopefully viewing issues have been resolved.
Support for additional BlackBerry QWERTY devices: Support for the BlackBerry Classic, Q5, Q10 and Porsche Design P'9983 has been added in this release.
Bug Fixes: Minor bugs fixed throughout to improve the overall experience.
The update should be showing for everyone, so be sure to download it ASAP and check out the changes. Not sure if Work Wide is an app for you?
