Wordpress App for BlackBerry Quickly Getting Better

Wordpress On BlackBerry

Ever since its launch, the new Wordpress for BlackBerry application has been churning out updates like they are going out of style. At this point Wordpress for BlackBerry is now sitting at version 0.9.0.134, which of course means it's still in beta, but the fact the updates are coming so fast is great and shows Automattics dedication to making the app great. It also shows how well that community is taking to the app, with bugs getting worked out within the community quickly due to its open source nature.

If you do not have the latest version of Wordpress for BlackBerry be sure to update as many fixes have been put in place since the intial launch release.

All of those great additions ot the application help make it better. If you own a Wordpress blog be sure to check it out today.

I agree that this is a nice application. I just wish that I would not have spent $17.00 on another blog app just to have this come out 3 weeks later. I guess it pays to read all the postings on this site.. :-)

Everything worked fine until I went to make a post. Could enter everything except the post text. Wouldnt let me select the area below the status selection box. I don't get it.

Is it me, or does this not support the touch screen on the Storm? It seems I have to scroll up and down through the different fields like using a trackball or scroll wheel as opposed to just touching them? It was a real pain to just set up a blog. Let us know when full touch screen support is supported, as I really need a WordPress app.
