Through Thursday you can get in on the action simply by downloading the ScanLife app and following a few simple steps when you use it:

Using your ScanLife app -- scan any UPC barcode on a product of your choice.
Once your content loads, click on the Daily Holiday Giveaway banner (shown above)
Now, all that's left is to select the "Twitter" button to follow us or "Facebook" button to post on your wall.

I can download it and run it on my Torch - but I just took like 7 pictures of the same UPC and it couldn't decode any of them. =(

Its so hard to get this app to decode the images...I scanned a bunch and got ONE 2 work, after messing around with the picture settings.

already have the scanlife and LOVE it! makes it so much easier and less steps to download apps off of the sites.

i cannot click on the banner however, and do not know how else to enter

took the pic and scanned the item. I selected the banner but not sure how to enter. I also Like the Facebook link and dont know if im doing this correct or not.....But im trying....

I wish someone from Crackberry would "chime in" on exactly how to enter this contest because this is a bit confusing. First of all if you do get the app to decode a code, no holiday banner pops up to click on. And how would clicking on the "above" banner do anything? Because doing that just brings you here - to an extended post and showing the comments. It has nothing to do with the code you might have just scanned.

Someone please tell us in more detail how to enter, cause Im sure it would help everyone.
