Original Post - April 27th, 2012: As the world's #1 BlackBerry Fanboy, I take pride in always having the latest and greatest BlackBerry. So when the $2,000 Porsche Design P'9981 Smartphone from BlackBerry went on sale in North America, I just had to have it. The P'9981 is an exclusive (and expensive!) smartphone that gets a *lot* of attention thanks to its distinct styling and limited availability. As I mentioned in my P'9981 Review, you kind of feel like a celebrity just owning one.

And as much I enjoy using the P'9981 and being a member of the newly-formed Club P'9981 owners group, I've decided it's time to pay my P'9981 forward to a lucky member of the CrackBerry community. As was pointed out to me in an email I received from a reader earlier this week, the Fearless Leader of CrackBerry Nation should rock a BB more representative of the 99% of CrackBerry Nation, not the < 1%. I couldn't agree more. So I'm back on my white Bold 9900 and my P'9981 is up for grabs!

so reason why i would love the phone or any phone for that matter..is because 3 days ago i was running down the stairs to help my mother carry stupid groceries and i slip and fall on back and my behind very hard in the edge of stairs. Well of course!! my 9930 that was a bday gift was in my back pocket and got smashed. Literally bent in half..including the battery and everything..so aside from being all bruised up and having to us a old 8330 curve that shuts off every 20min i dont have money for a new phone..

so the phone would be much appreciated.

Kevin, I just gotta get this phone! my daughter abandoned BB for the iPhone and has to be shown that BB has not died. And I have to have a phone way cooler then her for a change. I gave her my upgrade twice already. It's my turn to have the better technology. Thanks.

Although i may be late i will post anyhow

1) I love cars and I am an enthusiast and Porsche is one of my favorite manufacturers, My uncle owns a 2010 Carrera 4s. I just want to say I one up-ed him with an exclusive berry.

2) I bought the Porsche design P’230 TB Desktop hard drive. I not only would the P'9981 match perfectly but i would like the rest of my hardware to as well. My new color scheme for 2012 is brushed stainless.

3) I had the extracted theme from the p9981 on my 9900 until I upgraded to OS 7.1 and I’m missing the minimalistic abstract feel. Its clean and definitely me. I love that phone and I also like to have an exclusive device.

4)There is no greater feeling than having exactly what you want in life. The P'9981is something i have wanted since its launch. If i do not win this contest i will buy it despite the costly price tag. Its art plain and simple.

5) One last thing Kevin I have never won anything in my life with the exception of a lotto max free play :) it would make my year! if I won a device such as the p’9981. I like Rim and I want them to survive and prosper. I’m not a fan boy, i don't need a toy or 100000 apps but I appreciate the functionality and practicality of Rims devices, I am also a proud Canadian and i think it is one of our greatest achievements.

I am turning 30 today. (same day as you do awwww) . I have some nerves about it so that would be a great gift for me.
secondary , my 9900 is killing me with its crappy battery and i wouldn't want to hurt anyone by throwing it off the balkony. So just picture it. You are saving someones life of a hit to death by a 9900.

Need to have this! Completely shattered my iphone the other day and now im left with no mobile device! This is pretty much the only way i could get a smartphone and continue to pay my rent :p
I'm a nightclub promoter in the NY area and not having bbm has been a real pain in the ass for networking at different venues. I would love to have the ease of people just scanning my PIN.

If i somehow magically obtain this, i would love to report on how its holding up with real world usage a few months down the line. The switch to BB will forever be made for me if i could win!

Second Hand or not... As long as it works good, with no problems or issues. I've always loved the blackberry devices. They are the best answer out there to us little business owners, in my opinion!!!

Second hand or not, does not matter as long as it is in good condition with no problems or issues, and not broken or damaged. It is my opinion that the blackberry devices are the best answer out there for small business owners like me... The question that I'd have is: does the battery last more than 4 hours? at least the old blackberry's will last a day or two before you have to charge them. Does the Porsche do that??? None of the newer smartphone's that I've seen or used these days will last 4 hours let alone all day...pitiful with our current technology advancements in this day and age!!! As an added footnote...I posted followed and added Keven to my circles etc. Hope to win, but really just love blackberry stuff...So wanted to comment regardless, as my luck usually is though, I never win squat...not for lack of trying though LOL... :-)
