Where to even begin? Huge BlackBerry fan, friends have tried multiple times to convert me in fear that I sink with the rest of RIM but have never gave up hope and will be sticking with BB. I own the 9900 which is, as you noticed Kevin, at the top of the smartphone chain, you even came back to it!... Wow I'd love to win this. Reason being: This is the sexiest phone EVER!

I would LOVE to have this phone! I'm from Egypt and my first BlackBerry was the Curve 8520, after having it for three years, I heard of the Bold 9900, I waited for months until it got released. When it did I got really excited! But since the latest models of phones/computers etc. don't arrive here before a few months after they come out, all I could do was watch YouTube videos and read about it. Finally in October, my dad bought me one from Dubai and gave it to me as a surprise, I instantly fell in love with it, I was so happy carrying it around! :) Until one day a few months ago, it got bricked -.- I checked out some YouTube videos about fixing bricked phones and solved the problem with the help of BlackBerry Desktop Software of course. Then two months ago, it happened again! I thought i would be able to fix it on my Mac just like the first time but I tried several times and failed. I started using my old 8520 again which is quite old, VERY slow and does some pretty weird things (restarts on its own/deletes my things etc.) I tried sending my phone to several electronic stores around Egypt but nobody has been able to fix it, I'm planning on sending it back to Dubai from where I got it and either get it fixed or, since its a manufacturing problem and its not my fault, replaced. There is also no BlackBerry agent in Egypt, well not that i know of. I asked @BlackBerryHelp on Twitter but all they suggested I had already tried. So now you know my story, I would LOVE to win this phone and as you can see, I really need it. I REALLY MISS MY PHONE! Aww man I can't even describe how badly I would appreciate having this phone. I've literally been hobbling along with my 9700 for as long as I can remember. It's so annoying that it's literally just a BBM or text machine. My speaker in the headset is busted so I can't usually make calls, and I get a 'insufficient memory' error when I load most web pages. I love CrackBerry and I'm a big contributor to the forum community so yeah I would love this!

I want to tell you exactly why I want that Porsche Designed Blackberry 9981. I have gone through several models of phones over the past 7 months. I went from the Torch 9810 to the 9700 to the iPhone 4S to the 9900 to the Android to the iPhone 4S and now to the 9700. Unfortunately, I've come to a screeching halt at my 9700! I absolutely love it, and now that I have my Playbook, I am able to tether it and access pretty much anything I want.

The bad news? The eBay company lied to me. I ordered the 9700 with the understanding that it was an AT&T-branded phone, but no, it was not. It is T-mobile, so I'm stuck with EDGE! The company could refund me, but I figured that I could simply wait until BB10 and be happy with EDGE until then.

However...I see this, and now you're my savior. You can save me from hell for the next several months. EDGE doesn't cut it.

I would LOVE a Porche Designed device! I would never be able to afford one of these beauties, and owning a second-hand device is way better than not. It would really compliment my PlayBook and 9900.
