Despite the thousands of comments already posted... I'm still getting my hopes up that I might win a new Torch!
I've been following Crackberry's [accurate and prompt] updates on the 9800 for many months now, in eager anticipation (even long after I was eligible for an upgrade). Now I find myself without the means to pay for one for a while - so a free one would be incredible! This phone look as though it just may be an answer to what I have always wanted out of a mobile device.
Got my fingers crossed!

Wow I can't believe its up to 8,446 comments already...I can see it reaching 10,000 before the 12th...but really I would do anything to get my hands on that torch. I have Sprint as a service but willing to switch over to AT&T if I get a Torch. If not I'll just stick with my carrier until they get the phone. It'll probably be out in a couple of months anyways...plus RIM is always upgrading their phones. But if I did get a Torch I would shout it from the tallest roof top that I LOVE BLACKBERRIES!!! In my country everyone´s always yapping on about android phones and iphones, so many times I find myself being the sole BB defender in a discussion. I´m pretty sure having a brand new Torch would help me shut up a couple of people, eheh.

i am a happy bold 9700 user. But my wife have an old SonyEricsson W595. She have a look on iPhone cause of touchpad. But she is an SMS and e-Mail power user, so she need an addional keypad. It would be the best sollution to have an torch. :-)
