I would greatly appreciate a new BlackBerry 10 device. I need to get two, my wife is stuck on an old 9700 which brings her daily grief, yet she patiently endures. It is her first and so far only BlackBerry. I would also like to upgrade to a new BlackBerry 10 device from my 9900 that I got last February.

If i was able to upgrade both my and my wife's BlackBerries, I would be passing my 9900 on to my Dad.

So yesterday(christmas eve) I'm driving my wife to niagara falls to do some last minute shopping. A contest came on the radio where u could win an ipod,ipad, apple tv and apple "stuff". I looked over to my wife and said I really hate how they push all this apple stuff on ppl. I've never heard of a radio company in canada pushing to sell or give away blackberry stuff. If I won all that stuff, I would sell it to some apple fan boy on craigs list for $5!... Morale of the story... I wake up this morning and as we are opening our presents, she's sitting there with a big smile on her face... Its an iPod! She got me an iPod!!! She-Got-Me-An-Ipod! Can you believe it! It will be on craigs list for 5$... So I will be needing a BB10 as my music player amongs all the super phone features

I have been an enthusiastic BlackBerry owner/user for MANY years. In these current times my wife and I are far less enthusiastic abut our BlackBerry devices. We each own Bold 9780's and Plaaybooks (32GB). We are also contemplating other platforms at this time. I am waiting for the release of BB10 and the new set of handheld units to see IF the new platform will actually function as claimed. However, I have no intent of purchasing a unit for myself until I have the opportunity to read MANY user reviews. I am giving this approximately six months after the official release in the United States of the new hardware before I make ANY decision to purchase one.
If I were to win a BB10 device I would seriously put it through hardcore testing and write about my findings on as many BlackBerry forums that I could find.
