December is here which means it's time for yet another amazing CrackBerry Santa contest. Last year we also gave away an IOU for a BB10 phone, thinking they would become available in 2012. Mrs. Claus isn't too happy that the winner from last year's CB Santa contest is still waiting for their prize, but at least this year we know the winner will get their phone soon into the new year, with the BlackBerry 10 launch event happening on January 30th, 2013.

The Prize: The winner of this contest will receive their choice of BlackBerry 10 phone - either the L-Series full touchscreen version which will come to market first, or the N-Series qwerty version that will hit the market second. And of course, we're CrackBerry... so we'll come up with a bunch of great stocking stuffer prizes for a few other lucky winners.

I'm up for a new plan in the new year so the timing is perfect. I'm in need of a new device and I'm so excited for the new BB10 devices. All my friends and family "raze" me for waiting for RIM, but I'm a true Canadian and I support Canadian companies as best as I can. I would love to have a BB10! My Torch 9800 has a broken retainer for the cover, so everytime I pull it out of the pouch (purchased through the Crackberry store, of course) the cover slides off. Just waiting for the BB10's to launch so I can pick one up, but a free one would be even better!

Wow, a LOT of comments already. This is great to see. I suppose it means there is still a LOT of interest in RIM/BlackBerry.(or perhaps just interest in the contest). However, as a former resident of Waterloo Region (Cambridge) I am really hoping that BB10 blows everyone away, because I LOVE RIM/BlackBerry, and I want them to be around for a LONG time. There will be a lot of jobs lost, hurt families, crippled region and industry if BlackBerry fails to leap ahead with this new OS.

Here's hoping that BB10 IS all it's CRACKED up to be and that I am chosen as the winner of the new device. BB Rocks!

I need to win because I love my Blackberry and want RIM to succeed. However, I am losing faith in my 9930 and am concerned with the future of this device and software. I would probably get the Blackberry logo tattoo'd on my body if I won this contest. I use my device to the extent that it was made - I need a tool, not a toy! Blackberry has been the molding of my business persona I am today. For that, I am grateful. Whatever the market perceives, there will never be a suitable substitute for my Blackberry! #BB10 all the way!

I was an early adopter of the BB Storm 9500. I turned down the iPhone that my organisation offered me for reasons of functionality. BB is still the most useful device for getting things done, which is why I continue to own one, paid for out of my own money. I now have a Torch 9860.

It would be the most clearly logical evolution to become an early adopter of the first L-series BB10 device. This is my entry to be in the running to bring about this scenario.

This would be great since my upgrade isn't till May! No matter what though I'm repping #BB10 #teamblackberry #Blackberry #Playbook to the fullest. I visited my grandfather at a veteran's hospital yesterday and talked two nurses and another patient's daughter into getting PlayBook over the Ipad......it's wat I do. People are interested when they find out they use QNX everyday. I love the direction of the company now.......This is a war_ I've picked my side^ Thanks to the CB team for the path^

My wife decided to jump ship and get an Android last year when her BB (after 2 years of service) stopped working. I, however, have stuck with Blackberry for the past 7 years. Even through all of the frozen screens, battery pulls, and long restarts. Sure, all of those things have made it hard to stay loyal at times, but in my opinion, the good has always outweighed the bad. Also, I understand my Blackberry in a way that usually allows me to avoid those unfortunate scenarios that every owner has experienced.

I'd love to be able to get the L Series BB10 phone for my wife. I miss seeing her on my BBM chat list. Also, I want her to understand why I've been so incredibly optimistic about Blackberry these past few years. I know it's a slim chance, but I hope you'll consider my entry!

I would like to thank Blackberry for designing the user friendly phone. I have my device for 3 years never had any problems with it and I still think it is the best phone ever!! I love eat sleep drink my blackberry if i left it at home by accident I feel naked empty with out it . I would love to have the newest addition and will treasure it.

I am every excited over BB10!! I still remember when I got my first BlackBerry back in 2009, I was at the Verizon Store for over an hour debating which cell to get. I chose A BlackBerry Curve and I'm been hooked since. I can't stop bragging over BlackBerry and now have family, friends and coworkers looking at BlackBerry again. I would love to win a new BlackBerry 10, but it's okay if I don't. I am so looking forward to owning the beautiful device and to show it off to all those doubters. I never lost faith and will always be a proud BlackBerry owner!!!

When folks see I have a BlackBerry, I often hear, "you still have one? BlackBerry's dead." I always respond, "not yet. Just wait. 10 will change everything." I'd love to be able to show them right away and prove my point, and a shiny new device on launch would definitely help!
