Famtastic Challenge

Research In Motion is holding another incredible contest with some amazing prizes.  They are calling it the Famtastic Challenge, and the BlackBerry team has joined with Verizon Wireless on this one. Entry is easy. Each week through the end of February, a new challenge will be posted on the BlackBerry Facebook page. Submit a photo for each challenge and get the most votes and you could win!

The 40 submissions with the most votes for each challenge will win 4 BlackBerry smartphones (Either a BlackBerry Bold 9930 or a BlackBerry Curve 9370) with a month of free service from Verizon, and be entered to win the Grand Prize, which is a trip for 4 to Orlando, Florida. the Grand Prize competition will require a video entry which will be reviewed by a panel of judges to determine the winner. That's great! Pretty interesting considering Verizon does not offer good support for blackberry users. Nor do they promote blackberries. All staff will direct you to is droid and iphones. LOL! (My experience in several Verizon stores, and customer service).

I have to agree about Verizon. I've been with them for 11 years, and a blackberry user for 7. I'm due for an upgrade and when I go in to a store to play with a 9930, the sales staff usually tells me "no, you really don't want a blackberry, their out of date and old," the phones aren't on display, or the battery's have been disconnected from the charger. This has happened to me at 7 stores so far and counting. I'm hoping the BB/Verizon relationship improves with this new promotion.

I agree Verizon sucks when it comes to BlackBerry, Iv'e been to one Verizon store that didn't even have any BlackBerrys. Anyway vote for my picture in the contest it is the "Big Bone" picture. THANKS!!!!
