White BlackBerry Torch 9800 now available from Rogers
If you've been waiting on that shiny white BlackBerry Torch 9800 to arrive at Rogers, the wait is over. The device is now available on their website for purchase. You can snag it now for $229 on a 3-year term, $499 on a 2-year term or $559 on a 1-year term. Still no sign of a white Bold 9780 however, but we can't imagine that being too far off. No word on if the white Torch is available in stores just yet, so be sure to leave a comment if you come across one.

$230 + $35 activation fee from Robers .... These people live in a different planet i tell u.
elche1988 Nov 18, 2010 at 2:58 pm
I agree! Makes no sence!!! And telus sells it for 149.99... Rogers will lose some clients there... But if you are a costumer with rogers already, I know a little trick to avoid 229.99$ for the phone. I got mine for 150$ on sep 30 over the phone =D

You need to call the costumer relations department directly! I manage myself ( it was hard as f*** ) to get that (514) number...Just call them and tell you want to upgrade and give them bad time shit about the price compared to other companies. It did work for me and few friends of I as well. To reduce their bills $$ and stuff like that!

Terrible pricing. 2 year contract is the full price here in the US.

My white Torch's keyboard and menu keys when activated by low light are so bright they become visibly fuzzy - anyone else having this problem? I had a black Torch first and it was much clearer lighting.

Yes. This is a problem that I found as well but thought that because its white and thats why the color is showing like that.
I really hope this is not a hardware problem, i hate having a new phone and then sending it back for 3-4 weeks and using some shit phone they give you. LOL
just got to wait and see

Queen and dixie in brampton ontario. I would imagine that most stores have them as well.

My Torch turned on the camera and started taking pictures all by itself while on the counter, screen up and me 4 feet away on a call on my Jawbone. Couldn't shut the camera off so did a battery pull, and then none of the buttons work. None. Or the trackpad. Did I software redo and it the same. Called Rogers. No stock and the guy couldn't give me an eta, except kept repeating that they will email me when they ship one to fedex after they get stock ....

I can't believe how expensive it is for Canadian users, doesn't seem fair for them!
makaveli28 Nov 19, 2010 at 12:48 pm
This phone should be $99 just like AT&T except they get an extra year of contract out of you.
