Our October 3rd deadline for getting your Fanboy Contest videos submitted is nearing, and I gotta say that as of right now things are looking pretty wide open. We've had a few videos submitted, but it definitely hasn't been to the extent I was expecting given some of the turnout on our previous video contests. It could be that everybody is getting them done this weekend and will be submitting close to the deadline, or it could be that the size of the prize has you scared off from getting involved (don't be scared.. just do it!). The grand prize is pretty freak'n awesome:

Started to film a few days ago. Everything is in 720p as long as my video editing software will allow it, and I will be showcasing a bit of my skills... TBL regulars should be familiar with them. :).

I have been tossing around some ideas and am trying to put together a nice video before the deadline. A prize that awesome is worth a shot.

I am working on a web site but I don't think it will be ready on time. It's called BBBlackBook.com and it will be a simple compare one BlackBerry to another BlackBerry. One of the most common question I get is "what is the difference between the 9900 and the 9810 or the difference between the 9800 and the 9810" so I decided this kind of site is needed, click on a single BlackBerry and get the full details for that device and 2 or more to a compare list and see where they differ. It will be the go to place for all released BlackBerry devices.

1 person doing all the coding and imaging can make it really hard as well as populating all the device data.

I'm just guessing, but I think the general 'Blackberry' crowd is too busy doing actual work to make videos or even think about how much they like their BB. I'd be lost without mine, but I generally don't think about how much I like it. Have more important things to do.
