WHERE was recently updated over the past few days. Currently now sitting at version 1.3.0.1 WHERE was updated to include better support for BlackBery Bold, Storm and Curve 8900 devices but it was an application wide upgrade meaning that all devices will see the new changes across the board. New fixes and features include:
- New Gas Features - The WHERE Gas widget got a total redesign in this update. All gas grade prices are now available on main screen. Gas station amenities are now also included on the station detail page.
- Improvements to WHERE Wall - In this latest update you will notice larger gravatar images, auto re-fresh mechanism, the ability to add links into posts, and a new Sports wall.
- Changes to the way location is handled
With these improvements in place, the free WHERE application has gotten even better now and is a greater resource tool to have installed on your BlackBerry device, then it ever was in the past. Be sure to check it out today.

I tried to download the program and ran into a cod error. I have a storm 9530. Help...
I have the 9530 on Verizon and I got an error. I tried restarting and it just deletes the icon off my blackberry. I hope this gets fixed ASAP. Also when I go to the download page it only gives me Version 1.1.0.3. The article states that Where is on version 1.3.0.1.
"Error starting Where: Module 'Where-10' not found" after successful download and install. Also on Storm 9530 and app version is 1.1.03

I had the same problem when I downloaded the new version. After the download, I lost the icon and looked for it on my phone for about a full day. I got frustrated and put it down. Then I remebered I did not do a soft pull reset. So I did the softpull reset and BAM there it was, new and improved.
Oh and I have a blackberry storm.
I can't even find it in the App World directory for the Curve 8900. Searched for "where" and got a bunch of results none of which were for this. looks cool, but no joy. And no option of the website for curve8900. When you download the version that states curve, it is for the 8300.

Get the "Where-10 not found" error. Do a battery pull and the icon is gone?? VZ-9530
I downloaded it and tried to use it but it didn't work here in Western Canada, which really is disappointing. Any idea anyone when it will work here?

Just downloaded the program and installed on my Storm. I did not encounter any problems at all. Searched for restaurants and stores in my area and they pop up like mad. Great app.
no issues at all with the DL and installed fine.
Yeah, great app. Downloaded and installed fine.
Of course, it only runs in 2/3 of my 8900's screen and it requires a battery pull every time you try to exit the app.

Tried to download it twice, after install I try to run it and get an error " Error starting Where: Module 'Where-10' not found."
Their is no support on their web site for the 8900! When this happens over and over, my level of confidence in Crackberry.com goes down just a bit more. You need to really check this stuff out before making these major announcements.
I'm having the same issue with my 9530 Storm, 'Where-10' not found.". I just shot Where an email.
I'm getting the same "where-10 not found" error message. People may want to hold off on the install.

App World must have removed it, as I can't even find it out there any longer?

This article says that Storm is supported but it is not available on App World on my Storm. I went the the WHERE site and it does not list the Storm as a supported BB device... what gives???
look harder it is supported for the 9500 storm but doesn't state anything about the 9530 storm
under travel. works great on my storm.
I think this only works for the 9500 and not the 9530.
I have installed and uninstalled this program several times on my storm and each time it tells me it cannot find where-10
I visited www.where.com directly on my 8900 and was handed the proper download. Works great, takes up the entire screen, and doesn't require a restart.
After waiting all day for an answer on my 8900, I saw your post and did the same. Works perfectly on my 8900.

I think you need to clear the cache in your web browser on your phone. The download is grabbing the old jad file from the previous version because it is cached in your browser. A browser clear cache should fix the issue.

I have the Storm 9530. Download worked just fine for me. I like the updates to the gas prices section. Tons of new info.

Weather is for the wrong city (country too!), movies don't work, no results for Gas Prices or Traffic :(

I have had WHERE on my storm since I have had it. It works great and always updates when new version comes out. When you are doing a search in app world you have to type as WHERE. If you type where it will not find it. One thing though app world does not have a version 1.3.0.1. Currently I have 1.3.0.0 and it has all of the things listed for version 1.3.0.1.

already had it on the storm. it was so-so before the push upgrade, but now it's great. Just dl'd it to wife's sprint curve. had to find it on the link (couldn't find it in the app stores). It runs a little different, but still cool..

i tried dl through the website, same thing happened. wouldnt work, did battery pull then it would dissappear. well then i went into blackberry app world, under travel, then where and dl from there. works great!! vz 9530
but ive NEVER had a problem with where...i've had it on mine for a long time, and every new update has worked perfectly...
if you get an error, it helps to google it first (theres usually an easy fix) before you start ranting about something NOT WORKING on a phone..

vz 9530 app world has version 1.2.5.0 and where web site has version 1.1.0.3 witch one should i use lol
What the link that everyone is using? You should be trying to visit www.where.com from your Blackberry device. It should prompt you to download version 1.3 for a STORM(9500 or 9530) 1.3.1 for a BOLD(9000) or New Curve(8900).
Had to go to the Where Web site to download. Works awesome! Would recommend. Seamless for a free program.
