WhatsApp beta testers looking to get in on the latest release can now fire up the BlackBerry Beta Zone app where you should find v2.12.19.2 available for download. Unlike some of the previous beta releases, the changelog for this one is kept rather small and only highlights two changes in particular.
- Added the ability to select skin color variations for support emoji
- Fixed an issue where Add/Block were not visible on an empty chat with an unknown contact

WAA Fixer corrects media sending problems on WhatsApp
With WhatsApp discontinuing their support for all versions of BlackBerry OS, including BlackBerry 10, by the end of 2016, many have tried running the Android version of the app on BlackBerry 10 only to find it has some issues as well. A new app, called WAA Fixer from CellNinja aims to help correct those issues and make the Android version of WhatsApp work better on BlackBerry 10.
