If you're still riding it out with WhatsApp until the end of 2016, you might as well get yourself on the latest version possible. A new beta build has arrived in the BlackBerry Beta Zone and while the changes are certainly not huge, they might be of interest to you.
- Reorganized Account settings to match other platforms. (Privacy, Security, Change Numbr, and Delete Account are now all under "Account")
- Added support for security code verification via NFC (Currently only supported with the website/beta versions of the Android client)
- Added rich text formatting support for message text
The update is appearing now through the BlackBerry Beta Zone app, so if you don't mind doing some beta testing, go ahead and get it downloaded. Just remember, it's a beta so be sure to offer up feedback.
