Although the BlackBerry Beta Zone has been a little wonky the past few days, that hasn't stopped WhatsApp from uploading a new beta release. This time around the change log isn't exactly huge, but it offers some improvements that will need to be tested before fully being rolled out.
- Updated set of emoji and emoji picker categories (Note: Not all new emoji are currently supported on all platforms)
- Fixed an issue where closing the app during media transfer may have caused the media transfer to fail.
- Miscellaneous fixes and updates
If you're looking to test it out, you will, of course, have to have the Beta Zone app downloaded. Once downloaded, you can open it up and find WhatsApp is the list of eligible downloads. Keep in mind, it is a beta release so there might be bugs.
