The Crack Team is on location in Orlando for WES 2009 and we're going to be bringing you a podcast each and every day. We kicked it off tonight with a quick one-beer episode (listen for the explanation), and discussed the WES announcements of the day along with the BlackBerry Curve 8520. Enjoy the show! If there's somebody you want to get us to try and interview, or questions you want us to try and get answered while here, leave them in the comments!

Listen carefully (pay attention) when they start talking about Viigo... he has the Podcast & Audio feature on his!!! When are we going to see that?? And yes... out of that whole podcast, this tidbit made me very happy. It's the little things...

Has anyone there hinting or giving any info on the full touchscreen with the slide out landscape keyboard? I've heard it as storm HD storm 2 any news?

I think everyone calls it WES (WEZ) because everyone pronounces BES, BEZ. Usually in the admin world they laugh at people who pronounce BES with a S because they obviously don't know much about it.

Boo! Makes sense with the processer, but I don't have to like it. :-)

Yeah, with the 312 and 64k memory, 4.5 is a stretch... I couldn't believe they ran 4.6 on the 8220. Maybe the memory helps it enough. Nice chat about the 8520. Maybe it's the Gemini because it has 2 faces. It's a BlackBerry and a Pay as you Go. New ground for North America.

@jakeberry123 - we don't want to miss a thing!
@Morf32 - they said it won't be too long.
@starfleet_k - I've not heard anything about that at all.
@halforc - anyone that knows anything knows that it's pronounced WEZZZZZ. :)
@Cobra302 - no word on that either.
@spocoeric - remember that these are only our thoughts, don't give up hope until we *know* for sure.
@gregerator - thank you for the feedback! The memory seems to be a big player in making these devices fly.
Thanks everyone for your comments!

Just got done listening...loving the "One beer" deal nice way to kick back and relax while giving us the inside scoop. Lol today is 5 de Mayo hope you at least have two... Not sure which BES my company is running since I don't get to touch that stuff :( but I'm sure they will be behind the 5.0 for a while lol.
