Jubei Raziel

I'm extremely excited to announce a new passionate BlackBerry enthusiast to our team. Give me a hand in welcoming Jubei Raziel to the CrackBerry blogs!!

Since Friday I've received over 40 emails from hopeful candidates in response to my call for new passionate blood on CrackBerry. I'm still reading through all of the applications and need to get back to a lot of people, but Jubei's application was one of the first to come through and the decision to bring him onboard was immediate.

Jubei is a passionate BlackBerry fan, tech enthusiast and console gamer who spends a lot of time in CrackBerry's forums. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times last year when CrackBerry took its HQ to NYC for two months. Also an accomplished photographer, filmmaker and novelist, Jubei actually showed up at our CrackBerry NYC Party and took awesome photos all night long. And if Jubei looks familiar to you, it could be because you've seen photos of him in GQ, Maxim, Cosmopolitan and DNR —his experience with photography and video began as a high fashion model. Basically, Jubei is the perfect weapon when it comes to tech blogging. :)

You won't have to wait long to see Jubei's articles start appearing on CrackBerry. In fact, he started today and hit the ground RUNNING. Living in Manhattan, Jubei attended today's BlackBerry Experience NYC event. Only his first day of duty and he already met BlackBerry CEO, John Chen, along with John Sims (head of enterprise), Marty Mallick (head of apps) and other senior execs on the BlackBerry team. You can't beat that! As I post this he's working on his first post following up on this morning's event.

Jubei Raziel

You won't find Jubei in the social sphere (which is kind of awesome), but for more on him you can check out his personal site at JubeiRaziel.com and of course talk to him here on the CrackBerry blogs and in the forums.

Welcome to the team, Jubei!
