Does this charger work at the normal BlackBerry rate, or the PlayBook rate of charge? Either way I would love it, but I'm curious. If it's the latter, I'll probably buy one if I don't win. My current dual car charger won't charge my playbook and 9930 at the same time; they both lose ground.

I recently got one because the no-name brand I had no longer worked with my PlayBook although it did charge my 9810 (go figure).
I got tired of carrying around the wall charger to plug it into the car outlet and using the car charger for the phone.
This one is super fast!

I need a new charger because my original verizon car charger is on it's last leg; it doesn't stay connected, I have to press it into the lighter socket every now and then. I guess if I don't win I'll put duct tape around it so it will have a better hold.

This is one of the few chargers that works properly without having to modify a separate USB cable, shorting out the data pins (not the power pins) to get it to work with the PlayBook. RIM has already done the proper connection to have this work with the PlayBook and all cell phones. The cell phones will charge at a much faster rate than the wall chargers that come with the phones since it's delivering a full 1.8A.

This is a must have for everyone weather they win it or not...
