this may help, my verizon rep talked to someone at RIM and he as told that if you do a total power shut down and then remove the battery and replace it, many of the glitches and lags will be resolved. i tried it and it did seem to help but not completely fix all the problems

Loving it

Funny... I remember Microsoft using the same technique.

I believe it was called Ctrl+Alt+Del

I love my Storm. I use Keepvid.com to rip youtube videos and play them on my storm for later. MP4 quality. I hope the update will make the phone respond a bit (a lot) faster.

Gotta love how some of the missing features which were available on previous phones aren't even mentioned. Are they even aware of the outrage some people have about the Storm?

Okay so when I put my Storm on vibrate... my few contacts that have a personal ringtone still goes off...how do I fix that so it doesn't ring when I'm on vibrate mood.

Go to the contact with the custom ringtone and check the selection volume to match custom profile. If you changed the ringer volume, it won't follow your profile.

The only thing that kept him sane was his BLACKBERRY. KEVIN HAS TO POST THIS VIDEO UP. HE HAS TO. THIS MAN WAS LOCKED IN HIS HOTEL ROOM AFTER TERRORISTS ATTACKED IN MUMBAI.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7754046.stm

British businessman Mark Abell managed to escape from the Oberoi Trident Hotel.

He had barricaded himself inside his room when the militants stormed the building on Wednesday.

Mr Abell said the Indian hotel staff and the security forces had been "fantastic".
