VQ CarFinder Reaches 100k Downloads - 20 Free Licenses Up for Grabs

VQ CarFinder

We first heard about VQ CarFinder way back in July of last year. Since then the app has come a long way, and has now been downloaded by over 100,000 users (and I'm sure plenty of those downloads came from CrackBerry). If you don't know about VQ CarFinder, it is a simple app that helps you remember where you parked your car. The app uses your vehicles built-in Bluetooth (or optional car charger) to note where you left your car, and you can easily access the app to find it again quickly. To help celebrate the milestone, the folks at VQ CarFinder are giving away 20 free licenses. All you need to do is leave a single comment on this post to enter. Contest ends this Sunday at midnight PST. Also be sure to check out VQ Mileage Tracker, one of the first apps to automatically track your mileage and travel info.

looks like a good app for when you go to 6 flags or some other super parking lot and you forget the number where you're parked. without this you can spend serious time looking for your car. so i'd like this app.

How does this sync to the in car bluetooth to remember where you parked? i thought bluetooth typically has a distance range of only 33 feet... do you have to be within that range for this too work? if not does that mean this can detect where your car is if it is stolen because it creates some sort of link to the car??? i am confused can anyone elaborate on how this works?

Can you create an upgraded version for menopausal memory moments. Please sign me up! Before 911, I actually forgot to park my car when unloading at an airport departure. Got my ticket, checked my bags, and jumped on a plane. Two weeks later when I returned from my trip... "where did I park my car?" maybe my impound fees would have been reduced, if I had VQ carfinder to tell me, where I left my car!!

At the North American International Auto Show; we decided to hit the casino afterwards and ended up at the wrong entrance looking in the wrong parking garage looking for our car. This app would have saved some time and sore feet lol.
