Anyone in the UK looking for discounts? Check out Vouchercloud for BlackBerry 10

By James Richardson on 12 Jun 2013 04:57 am EDT

If you are in the UK, Ireland or Malta and you fancy some discounts you really should download vouchercloud from BlackBerry World - plus it's free. The app is an Android port but works perfectly on both the Z10 and Q10.

Once you load up the app the majority of the main screen is taken up with promoted vouchers which you can swipe to the left to see the next one. The action though starts at the top of the display where there a wide range of tabs offering different types of vouchers - such as restaurants, casual dining, bars & pubs all the way up to Auto deals.

Vouchercloud uses GPS so it knows where you are and will list the deals available in order of distance from you. Once you find one you want you can either use the voucher now or save it for later. When you do come around to using it, it's just a case of tapping the 'Use Now' tab and the voucher will appear on your screen. In this day and age I'm pretty sure printing is not required for most places so you can just show the the quoted voucher number - simple.

Within the main menu there is also a search option so if you are looking for something in particular this would be a great place to start. You do need to set up an account with vouchercloud but that takes a matter of seconds.

So, it's free, it saves you money and all from within the palm of your hand. It doesn't get much better than that. Vouchercloud say they are planning to roll out to more countries in the future so if that happens hopefully we will spot it and let you know.

Nice...don't know if I'll use it but it's free so let the good times roll.

Have no issues with this app whatever (except that it's a dirty, stinking Android port. Lol)
