Vodafone / Verizon BlackBerry Storm2 Inventory Updates
The above image was sent in by a few people this morning which further confirms the October 28th launch date of the BlackBerry Storm2. This **should** mean that between now and the 29th Verizon will actually announce the device, and from there it should be available to all channels (retail stores, online, phone upgrades) to actually be purchased on the 28th. According to this similar image posted today, the inventory levels on the Verizon system are still showing 0 inventory, but hopefully that will change soon. It also looks like the previously rumored Verizon Storm2 BOGO (buy one, get one) deal may just hold true.
In the Vodafone inventory short below (click image for larger view) you can see that at least one Vodafone warehouse is currently sitting with 3500 BlackBerry Storm2 units in. We're getting close now!!!

The BlackBerry Storm 2 will be on shelves next week, Verizon Wireless confirmed today, adding Wi-Fi functionality and an upgraded touchscreen to the original version. While RIM still has much work to do in upgrading its BlackBerry OS and improving its web-browser technology, I think the Storm 2 will be a good gauge for how well the company has responded to recent lackluster reviews from consumers and critics. RIM has already proven it doesn’t have to make a gotta-have phone to sell handsets by the boatload, but if it can produce a sexy device with more intuitive features, it will make the white-hot smartphone space that much hotter.

Hi All,
i was walking around a shopping centre in Bristol UK yesterday, and thought i would go into a Vodafone shop just to see if they had any news. They had bettert than that. They had units in store, and had already been selling them that day (Saturday!). The guy got me one out so i could start playing on it. Awesome.
They admitted they were a couple of days early and it shoud be on sale tomorrow (Monday).

Let me clarify a point about the reported BOGO offer on the Storm2. The screen shot of the link that says "BOGO/BAGO - Check for available offer" does not indicate this specific device will have a BOGO offer. It is simply a link that is available TO the offers when you are viewing the equipment guide within InfoManager(VZW's internal information page).
I'm not saying it won't happen, just clarifying.
