Our own weekend coder Brian Scheirer let us know that his four pictures one word game Visual Connection is now designated as a Built for BlackBerry application.

For those of you still on legacy devices, the latest version in BlackBerry World is now compatible with the BlackBerry Bold 99xx running OS 7 and higher with support for the 9810 coming soon. This version retains all of the addictive gameplay and elements of the original.

Features

  • 400 Levels
  • Addictive
  • Hours of entertainment
  • Fun for all ages
  • Earn/Buy coins for hints and level skips
  • Extra challenging without a letter bank, so you can't just unscramble the letters
  • Guest mode option to allow others to play on your device without affecting your progress/coins
  • Specifically for BlackBerry, optimized for PlayBook, BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10

Visual Connection is a challenging puzzle game that will only set you back $0.99. Legacy owners should note that If and when you upgrade to a BlackBerry 10 device, re-downloading the game will be absolutely free!

Good on the developer for still creating a app that can work on "legacy" devices. I also like the fact that he made it available for free whenever they switch over to a new BlackBerry 10 device! Whenever I see an app that I have already installed on my PB or I had on my 9900 and I see that I have to pay for it again, I get pissed. And needless to say, I don't download that app for my Q10. Seems like a waste to have to pay for that app again.....for example Angry Birds Space!

Thanks for the follow up post.

Also think I still have some room for improvement on this game so I hope to make at least one more *big* update :D

Actually working on a new game right now too, that I hope is equally as challenging/fun/addicting. Plus going to have a Scoreloop leaderboard which always adds an extra layer of fun to try to reach the top of that leaderboard.

I love supporting developers who build for BlackBerry. 99cents is not much for one person and it is well worth it for a quality app.
