Good news for all Pearl and 8800 users. SanDisk will be releasing their 4GB microSD High Capacity card on May 1st, 2007. Initial plans are to launch this on Verizon with V Cast capable phones.

...in addition to "will it work on the Pearl / 8800", I want to know how 'fast' is the card. For example if am coping, let's say 1GB of data, how long realistically would I have to wait.
As you know, some cards have a lot of capacity, but are slow to read. I think they do that to keep the price down. But, am all about the speed baby!
