If you're a Priv owner on Verizon and have been waiting for Android Marshmallow, your wait may finally be coming to an end. Verizon may soon finally be rolling out Android Marshmallow to Priv owners. Although it doesn't seem widespread as of yet, at least one member in the CrackBerry Forums has now reported receiving the Android Marshmallow update on their Verizon BlackBerry Priv, while others are seeing 'Unable to connect' when checking for updates.
For now, Verizon's software update page remains unchanged, but there's no harm in checking for updates if you're a Priv owner on Verizon. Perhaps it's just a small soak test they've pushed out, and more people will be able to get it downloaded. According to the information available, when updated you'll be on firmware AAH376 which will be running the October 5 security patch. Let us know in the comments if you're also seeing the update!
