If you want to turn to your BlackBerry to see what's on the TV here in the UK I've found a pretty sweet solution which is a native Blackberry 10 app. UK TV Guide is available to download from BlackBerry World and is currently priced at £1.50, but some of you can get the application for free thanks to developer who has given us 200 copies to give away.

As you'll see from the above video, the app gives you a comprehensive listing of all programs that are currently on from the home screen. Here you can scroll up and down through the list until you see something you like the look of. Tap on it and you'll be shown a little more info on that program, as well as what directly follows it and then what's on that channel for the rest of the day.

If you select one of the BBC channels you'll notice that at the bottom of the page you will have the option to view that channel. This just opens up the BBC iPlayer which you can do directly from the awesome BlackBerry 10 browser anyway.

The feature that I like best of all with the UK TV Guide is that when you find a program you wish to see later in the day you can add it to your BlackBerry 10 calendar. This is a sure fire way to not miss those important shows.

To grab UK TV Guide for free just go to the below link in BlackBerry World, pull down from the top bezel, select 'Redeem' and enter the code CBUKTVFREE - simple.

Features include:

  • 50+ UK TV Channel Listings.

  • Freeview/Sky/Virgin Media Channel Coverage.

  • Set Reminders to Watch Shows.

  • TV Channel Numbers.

  • Watch BBC 1/2/3/4, BBC News 24, cbbc and cbeebies channels from within the application.

  • Send Reminders to Friends.

  • BBM Recommend to a Friend.

Overall the app is the perfect solution to searching for what's on the TV in the UK. I'm sure many of you will have your say in the comments with regards to the price, but if you ask me it's well worth it if you like to use your BlackBerry to plan what you will view.
