UberSocial for BlackBerry v1.304 now available for download

If you use Twitter on your BlackBerry, chances are you have heard of, tried, or currently use UberSocial. This popular app has just been updated to v1.304, fixing a bug in the character count on the compose screen while also giving this screen a simpler, roomier look. They have also completely re-written the Facebook OAuth logic, resolving the issue with the Facebook web page not rendering correctly on the built-in browser widget and the in-ability to login if you setup your Facebook security to require the naming of a new device login.
All in all it sounds like a worthwhile update so you'll want to make sure you get it when you have a chance. You can grab the update, or if you're not a current UberSocial user you can become one, at the link below.

Bleeh!! I have been a faithful UberSoc user for a while now but recently deleted as they are yet to implement the push notification feature which T4BB has got. I've never really been won over T4BB but that feature seems so important as i can immediately be notified of any mentions or DMs as opposed to waiting for it to come through 5 or 10mins later like UberSoc does. I mailed them a while back to mention this and was told it was in the works to be implemented soon but still nothing. Figured there was no point having 2 apps on my fone just cus i sentimentally liked one while the other provided what i needed. I luv UberSoc always have and always will but until that feature is bolted on i'm staying away.

I recently received an invite to SocialScope, while its growing on me, I'd be lying if I said I didn't still prefer UberSocial. Especially after the update.

I'm done with blackberrys. Anybody wants to buy my BB 9850 sprint. I'm in nyc.I'm getting an iphone. bb simply sucks nowdays,I can't even watch netflix or have my google voice on this phone.

Btw...anyone got invites to SocialScope? Been dying to try that app out and see what all the fuss is about. Registered for an invite months ago and still haven't heard nothing back.

Looks like T4BB remains the only twitter app that does push notifications on my 9930. SocialScope seems to have abandoned the concept and this UberSocial update didn't bring it either
