U.S Open 2010 - Catch all the updates from from your BlackBerry

With all the news surrounding the FIFA World cup, news from the U.S. Open 2010 Golf Championship has kind of been a little left behind. For Golf fans out there, this is one of the premiere events. With that in mind, it's only fair of us to point out that the U.S. Open does offer up a mobile version of their website to fulfill the needs of golf fans everywhere. Sure, it's not a dedicated application but it works quite well and the layout looks great on BlackBerry devices. If golf is your thing keep it in mind. The U.S Open runs from June 14th till the 20thin Pebble Beach, California.

Duh. If you had an iphone you wouldn't need a BlackBerry enthusiast web site (I.e. Crackberry) either. So Captain Obvious, how about you haul yourself back to your Apple fanboy sites and leave us who don't believe in Apple's vision of how the world needs to be to ourselves. Thanks.

from my BlackBerry Storm...

Jetman. If you had actually looked at the mobile web site m.usopen.com you could have watched the whole event LIVE on you Blackberry.

The quality of video on WiFi in my humble opinion was better than iPhone. It was really crisp and as a huge golf fan, I thought the mobile web site was the best I have used.

The LIVE video coverage was excellent quality and for the marque groups the content was fantastic. The weekend content had too many views of the ocean but generally this live video on Blackberry was the best I have seen.

This site is about promoting BB and it is about time people realised that Blackberry is capable of really nice quality streaming LIVE. Well done USGA for providing this for Backberry. It is not ""all"" about iPhone.

Next time look at the site before commenting :)
