Twitter for BlackBerry v3.0.0.20 now available

Twitter for BlackBerry 3.0.0.20 has been floating around the BlackBerry Beta Zone and is now officially available for download. This version brings some fixes and new features including BBM integration, new Tweet layout, promoted Tweets and more. It's been a while since an official release, so if you haven't had a chance to grab any updates from the Beta Zone, you'll definitely want to give this one a go. I'm still a fan of the simplicity of this app and I'm happy to see it keep getting better. You can grab the update now in BlackBerry App World now (if you don't see it be sure to refresh).

Interesting...I was running the last beta version (3.0.0.19) and it's forcing me to upgrade before I can use it. Not a big deal, just haven't ever seen that before.

Same here. Hope that's only because we were running the beta version. Would hate to have that as the new norm. I mean how many times do you hear there's an update to something, and it ends up being a gong show of glitches?

You forgot to mention one very important improvement-Bridge integration to allow links to be opened on a connected PlayBook. That single feature has made this a very welcome update. Kudos!

That's always been there. I just did that earlier today on the previously latest build. Or is it easier now than just pressing the menu key and selecting "open on..."?
On a seperate note, "promoted tweets"? Does that mean that if I upgrade I have to see advertisements in my twitter stream?

It certainly wasn't there in the version 2 installation of the app which I was using previously, but no worries it's there now anyway :-)

how to sort tweets by last refresh same like iphone when i want to see tweets it's showing from down to up from last refresh?

Does it remember the position of your last read tweet when refreshing? It always goes all the way to the top and you have to scroll down for new tweets. We should be scrolling UP to see the new tweets. Frustrating!

on iphone, when u open the twitter application it refresh tweets but sorted from down to up.
on bb it doesn't remember last position, what i want when i refresh tweets, The scrolling shouldn't going top of tweets... i need to read from old to new not new to old....
i need to scrolling UP for new tweets..
u got my point?

It has a bug. On Blackberry 9300, it freezes immediately. I booted the phone FOR TWO HOURS, tried to reinstall everything. Nothing. Those stupid fools! How can I get now the old version 2.0 back? :(

Getting Null errors when opening the app. Tried batt pulls and re-installs multiple times. Even OTA installs but nothing. FIX IT!

this update nuked my BB, just like the new Twinkle update. grr. i spent the whole night reloading my OS that time, and now i'm spending my morning reloading my OS this time grrrr. for the twinkle app i lost some contacts plus all my messages and notes cos the BB protect app in the phone do not have the backup files but they're in the BB protect website but i could not restore data from there, only backup. wtf. oh well i hope BB protect has the file this time around, i set backups daily.

SAME PROBLEM. THOUGH MINE IS IT KEEPS ON GIVING ME ERROR MESSAGE THAT I NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO A WIFI ( THOUGH I AM CURRENTLY CONNECTED) AND IT JUST SUCKS! I KEEP ON REFRESHING AND IT KEEPS ON GIVNG ME ERROR MESSAGE I NEED A DOWNGRADE!
