Twitter for BlackBerry updated
Research In Motion is happy to announce that they have just released Twitter for BlackBerry v2.1.0.27 for everyone to download! This version includes multi-account support, which was the top user requested feature. The update also brings the ability to share tweets with your BBM contacts -- in addition to the already included Share to email, SMS, PIN, and Facebook. If you're not seeing the update in BlackBerry App World yet, you can try refreshing it or just check back as the update will be pushed out over the next 24 hours.

I reported the following to Crackberry at like 7:30:
"So I just went to my Twitter for Blackberry app. I wanted to go to a specific friend, so I hit alt+p and started typing in their name. That's when I saw a name I didn't recognize. So I clicked on it, and it said I wasn't following them or anything. Is this a new add-on within the last hour? I've been doing that to bring up ppl for a while and dot it all the time. Now I have these unsolicited people showing up. Any info?"

I can't even log in. It keeps showing "BWP SECURITY TOKEN RETRIEVAL ERROR". Please help.

You have to go to switch accounts, click manage accounts, select your account & click red x in bottom right corner.
then select logout.

Why do you need to log out? You don't have to to switch between accounts if that is why you are asking.

I received a java error after I rebooted. I even tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling and got the same error. I'm using a Bold 9780 on OS 6.0.0.706.

The appworld link from the post did not work for me. ALT+RST did not give me any new updates in AppWorld. I was able to update via a post from @BlackBerryHelp on Twitter.

This release has had the same glitch as the last two beta releases for me... I'm on a Storm 2 9550 and the tweet button, when composing a new tweet, will not work. I have to open the options menu and send the tweet from the menu.

2 main features still missing and still keeping me away:

1. Does not allow offline access where BIS or operator signal unavailable. Can even read timeline loaded earlier.

2. Still does not go to the last read position in timeline. Always starts from the top. Very troublesome of people who have hundreds of unread timeline.

If you switch apps instead of closing out of Twitter it'll return right where you left off.

So hit the End button to get out or hold down the BB key to switch apps.

During tweet entry does all subscribed twitter account list appear automatically after @ input like UberSocial? I like the fact that the list filters and become smaller and precise as we continue entering the twitter account name...
