A good twitter client needs the ability to easily add friends into tweets as ubertwitter has just done as well as lists. More importantly a twitter client needs to work well with my blackberry and have a smooth interface, all of the clients I have tried have had flaws that I need to accept.

Push tweets now? YAY! Gimme please!!

For me, a Twitter client has to be above all easy to read. I can't stand when designers don't load new tweets in a different color from old tweets or don't remember scroll position within a timeline. It should have Flicker AND twitpic photo sharing options and bit.ly and tinyurl support. It should give notifications on new Replies and DMs, handle multiple accounts, and should load faster than blazes. I shouldn't have to leave the app to view pictures. A plus would be video sharing but I have a separate client for that. There should be lots of control over UI elements and should use a minimum amount of resources. No need for fancy animations if they slow down the client. It also shouldn't cost more than $3.

So I was sitting in my patrol car, blocking a road while the trucks tried to clear it from the mountain of snow, when my blackberry looked at me and said," you know what would make the time pass quicker?, a RIM Twitter client. So long hold, I saw that there were alonging beta tester by invite. Well here is my shot.

I want to Tweet, Mentions, Reply, DM ... and want Spell checker Function, I do too many tyos, Oops Typos!!! ;)

What I am hoping for in a BB Twitter app is a simple U.I.

We all know ... well some of us ... facebook app is a poor BB app, IMO. It is painfully slow and doesn't integrate with my BB.

To use fb as an example, every time I want to pull up a list of my friends, or message someone, I have to wait up to 3-5 minutes for my friend list to refresh! LAME! I hope RIM is able to fix this issue sometime.
I also hope the twitter app doesn't have the same problem when viewing friends and people I follow via twitter.

I'm @TheDiva and I am a twitter-holic! I mainly Tweet from my Blackberry and have tried every Twitter app published (most from beta conception) as well as SMS to feed my addiction :)

Currently I am using Seesmic's App and UberTwitter... over all I have found UberTwitter to be the most robust as well as the least draining of my resources available.

My Key features would be an app that uses the BB shortcuts that we have grown to know and love, a simple interface for Following/Unfollowing new Tweeps, and a quick menu for reply/retweet. I also think it's important to add search, groups and integrate posting photos!

Thanks to BlackberrySith I have become addicted to Twitter. I used to be the absolute anti-twitter anti social networking site until then, now I check Twitter about 15 times a day.

I like the way that UberTwitter will bring up your list of friends when you type in the @ symbol I hope the RIM client has that feature.
