Twitter for BlackBerry Gold Candidate now available in the BlackBerry Beta Zone

The Twitter for BlackBerry Gold Candidate (version 3.1.0.17) is now available for download in the BlackBerry Beta Zone. This should be the last version before an official release in App World, so get in on the fun while you still can. Some good fixes in this build that look to make it pretty solid.
- Updated Twitter Bird
- Sharing Tweets over email fails to keep links shortened
- Reply Hotkey not working and menu item missing on the Tweet Details screen if the Tweet is Retweeted by you
- When replying to a Tweet with a location, location call out pops up over top of the text in the Tweet
- Main account was deleted/logged out from app after experiencing network issues
- Spell check dialog appears as well as the suggested usernames in Sign Up screen
You can grab it now in the Beta Zone. If you're not yet registered, get on it!

Seriously the Twitter app for BB is one of the best mobile Twitter apps I've tried. Incredibly fast, no startup wait time, incredibly fast scrolling. Love it.

Can I request them to fix fb app? I use fb more than twitter. I use twitter only for breaking news or local deals.

i need more fixes to be able to use it the way i need it to be. like tagging my friends (which what it is now it's the same as checking in to places, not tagging someone). the way we share someone's updates (what it is now is just a generic sentence then followed by cropped contents of what we want to share followed by plain link), ability to copy and paste from news accounts to put into what we want to say before sharing their updates, fixing the search results (lately what i got always none even when i searched one of my friend on my friend's list), etc. the list goes on.
but what i need most is ability to tag someone and the way we share other updates. i want to be able to tag someone like what i saw on some updates, which only tagged the first name but it's being tagged to the right account.

The beta is snappy! Not sure I like the new bird....looks like he is having a heart attack :)
But the rest of it is great!!!!
