Maybe it will be enough to pull me back from Seesmic. Seesmic is just so fast and light. Also, there needs to be a way to remove that banner at the top with the clouds. It is unnecessary and takes up precious screen space.

Good updates coming. Still would like to see multiple accounts to really pull me away from Ubertwitter.

I like the client, but it has some features missing. And it always seems to have problems connecting to twitter when no other twitter app I have has an issue.

I like it because of the Message Box integration. I have everything in my "Messages" app (SMS, email, facebook) so twitter was a nice addition to it. It actually made me leave Ubertwitter altogether (Unless at fridays, making followfridays typing every username is a time consuming process).
The only extra complain I have is that sometimes the App is that sometimes it 'crashes', not leaving me write anything else, but still counting characters. Does this happen to anyone else?

I was also hoping it would have "Twitlonger" which is on Ubertwitter. I just don't like that character limit on Twitter. That's one of the reasons I went with Ubertwitter. I hope this enough to pull me back to Twitter for blackberry lol. But other than that, great progress! (Y)

Getting closer, needs to be able to manage multiple accounts and put a little counter next to the alert icon when new tweets arrive. Also needs twitlonger or similar.

Well... The only complaint I really have about twitter for blackberry is.... It always seems to have an error with the connection.. I deal with it, but it's annoying...

Critical update for T4B. The only missing feature is multiple accounts (like everyone else has said).

I really don't like twitlonger. It takes away from what Twitter is, just short blips of info. Twitlonger is not necessary.

Well, this is great; I really like the Twitter client, but I wish RIM had the same tenacity with the Facebook application - an overhaul is WAY overdue.

I love my twitter for blackberry. Though i don't really post feedback cause i just do basic tweeting. I really like it though. especially to see what is popular and stuff and to see tags.

Loving the new features! However I would had loved if the old style RTs were available instead of "Quoting" also the ability to upload pics to services such as TweetPhoto / YFrog instead of just seeing the pics. Anyways I just deleted the Ubertwitter app. Loving this app so far.

It now shows picture previews from Tweetphoto. Would really like it to give an unread/new tweet count next to the badge icon after it autorefreshes. That's probably the one thing that'll keep me on UberTwitter a while longer.

If your having trouble getting the update from the current Twitter app, try rebooting your device. Worked for me.

I'm on a Storm 2 running 5.0.0.607 and I'm getting this error “907 Invalid COD”. I've tried a battery pull and I am sadly left with the same result. Anyone else having this or other problems? I have been running twitter 1.0.0.37 since its release with zero problems.

Does this use less battery than uber? The quote tweets is just about all I needed to switch back and forth from uber now...I deleted it with the quickness because of that when the original beta came out.

It seems I've lost the ability to enter tweets from "My Messages", or any other application for that matter... with this update. I no longer have the Twitter option in the Menu bar. Anyone else having this issue? Is it now a configurable option that I don't know about?

I would love to see the ability to use twitlonger with this program, this is why I don't use it currently. I also like Ubertwitter's ability to track back the "In Reply To" options.

Just deleted Ubertwitter wooohooo. All I need now is geotagging enabled and i'm straight!

I'm using it on a Tour, and it kills my 1XEV connection (no data after that). I've tried different things to make sure it's the Twitter client, and it always leads back to that.

Does anyone have that problem?

The addition of username autocomplete plus editable retweets (quotes) is all I wanted really. If on top of that you add TweetPhoto support then it's really time to say good bye to Über Twitter...or is it? Well, I may not delete UT from my device just yet. Not until RIM adds multiple account support is at least.

I'd like to see support for 1) twit longer or at least break tweets into 2 different posts 2) a faster way of jumping to the last post you read b4 refreshing 3) autorefresh when opening the app

They still haven't fixed the original fault in that when you open it up, it opens at the top of the timeline and not the bottom or where you last left it as other twitter apps do.

For that reason it gets relegated to the rarely used apps folder.

all this lets me do is quote tweets... which is kinda stupid... i want to click ReTweet, then be able to type in that box and it doesnt let me...

The two best new features are the ability to edit retweets and the ability to email tweets.

There are too manytimes I see a web based article I would like to read, but don't have the time and would like to email to myself and read at my convenience. Couldn't do this before, but now you can. This is now the best Twitter app out there.

There should be an update where it leaves off from the last tweet you read when you open the app back up. It kinda sucks where it shows the most recent and you have to scroll down opposed to up (so you can read the tweets in order).

No More "Encoutered a Problem" errors. lol. And noticed it's wicked faster than it used to be.. Nice update.

I've noticed a substantial decrease in battery life since installing T4B's update (was using ubertwitter before). Has anyone else had this problem?

I tried to ask Blackberry support about how they want to deal with something like 'draft' support, because I'm losing tweets when Twitter is down/failwhale or other error occoured.

So, when I tweet something and it can't be delivered to Twitter, my tweet (or DM,or reply etc.) is lost.

Is this fixed in the new beta? Blackberry support didn't understand what I meant..

Hi all! i have a quesetion.. in version 1.0.37 i had setted to refresh once an hour, but i dont know why, the twitter clinet, refresh on the go, and even the twitts arrives earlier to my BB rather than to Tweetdeck. But with this release, that doesnt happend. I have to set a time to refresh the twitts. Anyone know if that was an issue in 1.0.37 that was solved now?

I don't understand why so many people want Twitlonger support? As many have said, the point of Twitter is to send SHORT messages out, not a blog posting. If you need more than 140 characters then Twitter is obviously not for you. Stick to a blog, even a simple one like Tumblr.

There are dozens upon dozens of URL shorteners out there, and almost 100% of the time you can abbreviate or use different words to make a tweet fit in 140 characters or less. I highly doubt Twitter for BlackBerry will get Twitlonger support...as it completely goes AGAINST the point of Twitter. UberTwitter has it probably because it can get away with it (meaning, it's not developed by RIM--it's totally "third-party"), but the "official" Twitter for BlackBerry app...not likely. Heck, the web interface doesn't even support it, and Twitlonger is in no way affiliated with Twitter.

Learn to tweet properly.

Does anybody know if this program runs in the backround if you hit close to end it? also in the options it says tweet refresh in backround is that when the program is running when you hit end to exit it? What does everybody set theyre options @ to make it run good but not kill the battery?

No matter what I do, I cannot login to this application. I've also tried both beta versions. At every attempt, I get an error message that my password/userid is incorrect. I know my credentials are correct because I stay logged into Twitter all day online and on my Android phone. So I'm pretty confident that I know both my login id and password.

I like the new updates however I just would like to see different skins, that blue cloud background is really boring. Maybe a black theme or something a little more macho

Quicker Refresh, 5 minutes is a lifetime. Twitlonger is a must.

I have to admit, I had switch from Seesmic to TT4B and it was great, I happen to chance upon Proximity search under search where you can actually search for ppl twitting nearby, It use to work in the older version but now after the forced update it just keep saying locating and it never ends,
If anyone finds out how to trouble shoot this, do let me know, I have removed and reinstalled as what BBhelp in twitter suggested, still no luck ! Appreciate it.
