The Twitter for BlackBerry 10 app is in the process of receiving a rather healthy update. Appearing in BlackBerry World right now is v10.4.30.12 and according to the change log, it brings along with some long requested features and several new settings that end users will enjoy.
New features and enhancements in Twitter for BlackBerry:
- View multiple pictures in a tweet
- Attach multiple pictures to tweets that you post
- Perform common tasks from 'More Actions' menu
- Improved notifications for direct messages, mentions, retweets, favorites, and new followers
New settings in Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones v10.4:
- Hide the Retweet, Favorite, and reply icons from your timeline
- Change the app background theme to light or dark (for users with BlackBerry OS 10.3 or later)
The whole multiple images, both viewing and posting, was a sore spot for many with the app so it's nice to see that finally be addressed. The rest is just icing on the cake for this release. Most folks should be seeing the update live now.
