Tweetdeck Working On A BlackBerry Twitter App?

As we see more and more Twitter apps pop up for the BlackBerry platform, one question that always seems to arise is "When will we see TweetDeck on BlackBerry?". Desktop and iPhone users have been making use of TweetDeck for a while now and Android, BlackBerry users have been kind of, left in the dark.
Today however, TweetDeck posted to their Twitter account the above information letting everyone know an Android and BlackBerry app are on the way. This of course, isn't the first time they have tweeted such things but that fact it's coming up again could mean it's arriving soon. Now the million dollar question, how well will it perform on the BlackBerry platform compared to others?

I'm curious to see it! I've been using TweetDeck on my pc for a long time now and I've always loved it, but I have yet to see if they can do better than UberTwitter on BB... I really love my UT, lol. Let's hope they won't make us wait too much longer to try and find out :)

Facebook is a HUGE undertaking for developer. Everyone always says the RIM Facebook apps sucks...now, while I agree it could be better...it's not entirely RIM's fault.
Facebbok changes their API's and integration protocols so often, hardly any developer could keep up with that crap. Thats why Facebook apps even on the site break..and break often. Facebook themselves can't even get their iPhone app right.
The time and effort needed to make a BB FB app just isn't worth it.

I've been using Twitterberry/Open Beak on my bb ever since I first got it. While its not a bad app, I really enjoy TweetDeck on my computer and would love to see it on my phone too.

I do love UberTwitter, but I'd totally love to try this one out when it's released. :) Hopefully sometime soon!

I use TweetDeck on my PC and a combo of UberTwitter and Twitter for Blackberry on my phone. If TweetDeck for blackberry is anything like the one for my computer, UT and T4BB will definitely be out! TweetDeck is better than seesmic, seesmic look, web, and any other twitter program i've used. the only thing it can't do it accept follower requests, but right now, no program can other than going to the web.

this sounds great! i use tweetdeck on my desktop... quick question what ever happened to that app that was supposed to come out Tweeteev?? i guess they said f it LOL

Has anyone seen the HTC EVO or the new Windows 7 Phone? Im so close to leaving my blackberry for one of these phones. RIM needs to step it up or I can guarantee that by the 4th Q of 2010 RIM will drop from 1 to 3 in the market, or even worse.

is all I need in my life to be honest I am so pleased with there new release well leak is amazing I dropped uber the day it was released haven't used it since and won't be using any other twitter app besides Twitter For BlackBerry

I've used tweetdeck from my desktop before and I liked it a lot...I used to want it on my BlackBerry but after I discovered UberTwitter I'm not so sure I want the mobile tweetdeck...I'll give it a run and see how I like it

I use Tweetdeck on my PC and on my iPod Touch. If they include Facebook updating in the Blackberry app, Socialscope could be in trouble. I really like Socialscope, but being able to log into my Tweetdeck account across all my devices would rock.

If they release a TweetDeck for Android, I'd probably switch from my VZW Tour to a Droid. Having SocailScope on my BB is what is currently keeping me from switching. Like getting tweets and FB updates, etc. in one interface. Hardly use the BB FB app.....

I have been a Blackberry user for 2 years now and still waiting for that day when the tweetdeck is made available for the BB interface. I am using the Tweetcaster for blackberry client and I do love it but I'm using the tweetdeck client for my pc and I think I would much prefer it to see on my blackberry.
