Something we get asked a lot at CrackBerry is what apps will be making their way onto BlackBerry 10, from Instagram and Skype, all the way to TuneIn Radio. Well CrackBerry Nation sleeping just became a little easier as TuneIn Radio will be there at launch.
TuneIn Radio is an application that allows its users to stream and listen to over 70,000 live radio stations. BlackBerry users have been enjoying it for some time now on current devices, and they’ll be able to continue the enjoyment on BlackBerry 10 as well.

Now what about instagram....??
BriniaSona Jan 29, 2013 at 8:37 pm
What is it that makes instagram SOOOOOOOOO necessary?
Plazmic Flame Jan 29, 2013 at 8:54 pm
For following hot chicks that post stupid stuff.... while still looking hot.
dwartyl Jan 29, 2013 at 8:55 pm
I would also like to know the answer to that
gord888 Jan 29, 2013 at 11:21 pm

pfresh63 Jan 30, 2013 at 3:49 pm
BLACKBERRY SAYS IT’S ‘IN TALKS’ WITH INSTAGRAM AND NETFLIX TO MAKE BLACKBERRY 10 APPS
Say this for BlackBerry — they seem to know they have an app problem and they’re working hard trying to fix it. A BlackBerry spokesperson has told AllThingsD that the company is “in talks” with both Instagram and Netflix (NFLX) to make mobile applications specifically for the BlackBerry 10 platform. However, the spokesperson also added that they “could not confirm when those apps will make their way into the store,” so BlackBerry fans may have to wait a while before they have access to two of the biggest apps in the mobile world. As we noted earlier, Instagram’s absence on BlackBerry 10 is particularly glaring because RIM claims it has a strong partnership with Instagram owner Facebook (FB).

I'm more of a slacker radio guy but its still good news
Josh Brolin Jan 29, 2013 at 8:12 pm
First app thats actually a nice surprise. I am actually surprised.
JMDBERRY Jan 29, 2013 at 8:12 pm
I'm a Tunein Pro user,...as it's one of my most used apps!
Welcome to BB10 Tunein.

BionicKris Jan 29, 2013 at 10:11 pm
Same here. It's my favorite radio/podcast app used at least 3x/day. Glad it's on BB10!
coolcut Jan 29, 2013 at 8:34 pm
Hmm, I guess those that got "Tunein Pro compliments of Blackberry" won't be able to migrate it over?
netwerks1 Jan 29, 2013 at 8:22 pm
My favorite radio app, glad to see it will be on board.
teamfoster03 Jan 29, 2013 at 8:24 pm
Aswesome! I love tunein, looks like tunein pro will be my first app purchase. Now just hoping for slacker and spotify. Last one to BB10 looses my $$
ewakil12 Jan 29, 2013 at 8:34 pm
Instagram please!
pmccartney Jan 29, 2013 at 9:29 pm
already been announced it will be available...an't see Kevin giving away a car if he wasn't sure about it.
gord888 Jan 29, 2013 at 8:36 pm
This is one of the most useful apps ever. I use this in my car each morning and afternoon. I'm thrilled this is coming.
The best part is, these guys code their apps according to the platform. So, the experience always matches the platform it's written for. so it should be a great bb10 experience.
Jimcmf Jan 29, 2013 at 8:39 pm
Great App.
More love for BB10 Please !
DanielLui1 Jan 29, 2013 at 8:41 pm
I agree. It would be great to see Instagram available for BlackBerry 10. Even if you're not the type of person who cares about Instagram, there are probably plenty of current BlackBerry users who have wanted Instagram for BlackBerry for a long time, myself included.
fbf2012 Jan 29, 2013 at 9:31 pm
I think instigram is a major app. There is no way the avalibility will be leaked before the launch. It one of those "BAM" its on BB10!
BB 10...Boldly taking over!
Spinnaz370 Jan 29, 2013 at 8:57 pm
Looking forward to getting App on BB10!
FuzzyFish Jan 29, 2013 at 8:58 pm
I hope the BB10 version works better than their Windows 8 app, which has been broken and doesn't work at all for the past 3 months or so.
igotberryfever Jan 29, 2013 at 8:59 pm
Sweeet , I will be buying process as well this will be my first purchase.
ayandakeith Jan 29, 2013 at 9:11 pm
(George Bush accent) Don't care much for the Netflix nor the Skype.
rarch Jan 29, 2013 at 9:19 pm
I would use both if available. But not a game changer for me. But for others, maybe.
Lehomer Jan 29, 2013 at 9:13 pm
Great news !
rarch Jan 29, 2013 at 9:14 pm
My # 1 app. NOW I'm ready for bb10
North-Face Jan 29, 2013 at 9:21 pm
Great news! I have the TuneIn Pro version compliments of BlackBerry as well. I will be more than happy to purchase this for the 10.
protofa Jan 29, 2013 at 9:34 pm

Creaulx Jan 29, 2013 at 9:35 pm
Yesss - best radio app bar none! Happy it's going to be there for launch, can't wait to see what other app surprises are in store! Making my decision to switch from Android much easier.
ThaMunsta Jan 29, 2013 at 9:43 pm
YES YES YES!!! :D
tjseaman Jan 29, 2013 at 9:47 pm
Awe!some! I think this is one of the best radio apps out there and use it all the time. I emailed them months ago asking but at the time they had no plans...glad that changed! Thanks TuneIn Radio!
Dirks2.0 Jan 29, 2013 at 9:51 pm
I use tunedIn every day. I am very glad it will be on BB10 as I was worried because it is on on the playbook
Bold 9900 & Playbook
Blackberry by Choice
soberone Jan 30, 2013 at 3:21 am
really ? as far i know, Tune In is not in Appworld on Playbook.
All you can only do is to port the android app TuneIn. That loads ok, but it doesnt play streams, because of codecs problem.
green_ember Jan 29, 2013 at 9:55 pm
This was a "must have" app for me. Glad. To see it on the list!
BionicKris Jan 29, 2013 at 10:26 pm
+1
KDB84 Jan 29, 2013 at 10:06 pm
Awesome! I crank this up whenever I take my dog for a walk (so, pretty much every day!)
BionicKris Jan 29, 2013 at 10:21 pm
SO glad to hear TuneIn radio will be on BB10. I'm a TuneIn Radio Pro user for radio, podcast and scanner feeds. Best app of its type I've found, and my "must have" app for BB10.
Well, we don't have long to wait now for the big BB10 release. I'll be tuning in to tomorrow's webcast.
<< Lemme at that Z10 already! >>
Playbook007 Jan 29, 2013 at 10:55 pm
Glad another great app is coming to BB10. I am a power browser user. Find your favourite radio station and book mark to your desktop.....throw common themes into a folder. Works great, all free, and uses no space. I personally think there is too much dependence on apps...i prefer to stay computer literate.....GO RIM!
MaxPayne79 Jan 30, 2013 at 12:52 am
i don't know where they're coming from with this v4.0 when all i can download from app world AND from tunein.com/bb is v2.3 from several years ago. where is version 3???
evil.bunny Feb 22, 2013 at 8:35 pm
Same here. The pro version seems to have stopped at v2.3 but the free version gets bumped up to v4.0 and if you look at Appworld, the free version supports Z10 but look at the pro version ($4.99?) and it doesn't state support for the Z10. I bought the pro version after doing the app testing with Alex on the forums since I love this app and support it. What happened to the pro users?
Christine85 Jan 30, 2013 at 2:19 am
I recently rediscovered TuneIn on my Blackberry. I have a ton of apps and started to play with it again. Love it more than Pandora! Glad it will be on BB 10
pinggwing Jan 30, 2013 at 3:08 am
good news. bought this for Berry and iOS, awesome app, awesome music.
vserghi Jan 30, 2013 at 8:04 am
"BlackBerry users have been enjoying it for some time now on current devices"
except the Playbook. I've seen it on iOS, installed it on my Android phone, Samsung Smart TV and had it on my previous BB phone. It was an odd omission to not have it available on the Playbook. Ended up installing another app, which was almost as good.
Anyway, that is very good news.
jcpallitto Jan 30, 2013 at 8:42 am
Is there a real tuner built into the BB10 phone so I can listen to the TVs at the gym?
ps4rh Jan 30, 2013 at 9:41 am
Oh good, this was one of must-haves.

The lamest, most unprofessional, "broadcast" I have ever seen: bad audio, NO audio, boring and repetitive 3rd world-ers appearances. The host rivals Carson Daly for Most Boring Human on Earth. The CEO looks, and sounds, like some repentant SS Lieutenant, feigning enthusiasm at
the end of World War II. OUT-OF-TOUCH? In Spades. Amateurish? Beyond Belief.
How the hell do you drag your feet this long, and then bore us to death with incessant self-congratulations, and irrelevant introductions? Exactly how arrogant and stupid are you?
It was late starting, the quality laughable and the content STILL not begun at 10:25 AM. How dare you waste our time in this manner!
chiliboots Jan 30, 2013 at 10:47 am
10:41 AM
This CEO should never, EVER, be allowed before a camera and microphone,
again. He is the most out-of-it, arrogant stooge imaginable. He is a very obvious detriment. He has no idea where he is, or who he is talking to:
his offering is irritating- IN THE EXTREME. Absolutely Stupid, Offensive
and hopelessly Arrogant.
Rootbrian Jan 31, 2013 at 10:03 pm
Good to know, because I use tunein. :)
CJH_ 3 weeks ago
Is TuneIn native?
And will I have to pay again for a Premium subscription?
